A successful and meaningful Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) Roll-out was conducted today, September 20, 2026, at the Birawan NHS Function Hall, facilitated by the dedicated SSLG Officers.
This activity provided our learners and parents with an opportunity to gain important knowledge and a better understanding of health, relationships, respect, responsibility, and well-being.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes to Western Samar Development Foundation, Inc. (WESADEF) and Plan International Pilipinas for their valuable support in making this activity possible. We are also grateful to Sir Michael B. Lungsod, Project Coordinator, and Maβam Althia V. Maluenda, Community Development Worker, for their guidance, support, and encouragement throughout the conduct of the roll-out. We sincerely thank our School Head, Sir Saladaga Darel Violen, and our Barangay Captain, Hon. Lilibeth M. Estrada, for their continued support and partnership. We also extend our appreciation to our SSLG Adviser, Maβam Jes Sa, and to all the SSLG Officers for their dedication and efforts in ensuring the success of this activity.
Special appreciation goes to our Youth Peer Educators and Resource SpeakersβAlexa Barras, Raytos Riley, and Rafaela Papauranβfor confidently sharing their knowledge and helping make the discussion meaningful and engaging. We are equally grateful to all the parents and learners who attended and actively participated, as well as to Laurence CaΓ±ete and Zhia Faye CaΓ±ete for extending their assistance during the activity.
Above all, we give thanks to Almighty God for His guidance, protection, and blessings that made this CSE Roll-out successful. May this activity continue to empower our young people to make informed, responsible, and respectful choices and help build a safer and more supportive school community for everyone. ππ
