𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝟏 ✅ | 𝐆𝐀𝐃 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐊𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐏 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐆𝐅𝐏𝐒 & 𝐒𝐄𝐂𝐑𝐄𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐀𝐓

The Bicol University Center for Gender and Development officially kicked off the 𝟰-𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗚𝗔𝗗 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗔𝗗 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗔𝗗 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝘁 on July 27, 2026, at Bernese Resort Hotel, Ligao City.

The workshop opened with a simple ceremony led by Dr. Noel Rafer, CGAD Director, who delivered the opening remarks which set the tone for the four days of collaborative planning, assessment, and capacity building.

Day 1 focused on the Midyear Planning and Assessment, featuring the presentation of the GAD Coordinators’ GAD PAPs (Programs, Activities, and Projects) accomplished from January - June 2026. Participants also attended Session 1: Procurement Policy, facilitated by Ms. Michelle Andes, GAD Coordinator of BU College of Law. The day concluded with the planning and presentation of proposed GAD PAPs for the second half of the Fiscal Year 2026. Reinforcing the university’s commitment to responsive and strategic GAD implementation.

As of this posting, Day 2 of the Workshop, namely the GAD Planning and Budget Workshop and Presentation is currently underway. Follow the official BU CGAD page for more updates!
