A successful Coordination Meeting led by Schools Division Superinetendent Roseller N. Gelig, CESO VI was conducted in preparation for the Orientation on Learning Systems Reform Policies for School Heads and Teachers. This initiative aimed to ensure alignment, clarity, and effective implementation of current educational reforms.

In line with the Department of Educationโs ongoing efforts to strengthen curriculum implementation and ensure alignment with current learning systems reform initiatives, DepEd Danao City implemented the mandate through the conduct of a Hybrid Orientation on Learning Systems Reform Policies for school heads and teachers.
The orientation for School Heads shall be held on April 27, 2026, while the orientation for Teachers shall be conducted on May 7, 2026.
This activity aims to:
a. orient the school heads and teachers on the key policies and directions of the learning systems reforms;
b. enhance understanding of curriculum implementation anchored on current reforms and innovations;
c. strengthen instructional leadership and classroom practices aligned with current initiatives; and
d. provide a venue for clarifications, discussions, and sharing of best practices among participants.

The School Invasion of the IPI Cebu Program aims to extend the outreach of IPI Cebu by directly engaging with school communities and providing students with essential hygiene support through the distribution of soaps, this time, at Sabang Elementary School and Sabang National High School.
It seeks to promote proper hygiene practices and health awareness among learners, contributing to disease prevention and overall well-being in schools.
The program also strengthens community and private sector partnerships in support of DepEdโs advocacy for a safe and healthy learning environment, while fostering social responsibility and care for studentsโ welfare.

a. Orient implementing units and program owners on the legal bases, policies, and guidelines governing PMIS implementation;
b. Provide hands-on training on system navigation, data encoding, validation, and report generation;
c. Standardize data management and reporting procedures across all units;
d. Address operational concerns, clarify roles and responsibilities, and ensure alignment with compliance requirements; and
e. Strengthen inter-unit coordination to enhance program monitoring and performance evaluation.

It is to ensure that designated evaluators are fully equipped with the necessary knowledge, skills, and guidelines in accurately assessing the Office Performance Commitment and Review Form (OPCRF) of School Heads.
led by Asst. Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Lorenzo Dizon, CESO VI, the orientation aimed to promote a standardized and fair evaluation process anchored on the Results-Based Performance Management System (RPMS), ensuring consistency, objectivity, and integrity in rating performance.
The orientation also seeks to clarify the use of assessment tools, performance indicators, and supporting documents, thereby strengthening the quality of feedback and supporting evidence-based decision-making in performance evaluation.

The Division of Danao City conducted the 3rd Division Senior High School Expo on March 12-13, 2026 at Cogon Cruz Integrated School that aimed to:
-provide opportunities for learners to showcase their skills, talents, and intelligence through healthy competitions,
- provide career guidance to all Grades 10, 11 and 12 learners, and
- promote a sense of camaraderie and partnership among learners, teachers, stakeholders and TVI partners.
The activity has been successfully implemented and indeed, it was an activity of discovery, creativity, and achievement!
Truly, the Senior High School Expo highlights the passion and potential of every learner.

The Learner Information System (LIS) is an online facility used by the Department of Education (DepEd) in the Philippines to register and manage learner profiles, including tracking enrollment, academic performance, and transfers. Accurate and timely data is essential for informed decision-making, proper resource allocation, and effective planning of school programs and interventions.
For the End of School Year (EOSY) 2025-2026 data, all public and private elementary and secondary schools are directed to update the learners' profile and other data requirements in the LIS.
Relative to this, the "Orientation of School Heads and School System Administrators on Updating the Learners' Profile in
the Learner Information System (LIS)", has been conducted on March 12-13, 2026 for Public Schools and Private Schools, respectively, at DT Durano MIS Social Hall, Poblacion, Danao City.

This activity aimed to strengthen the SGOD personnel's understanding of the RPMS framework, enhance results-based targets aligned with organizational goals, and promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high performance across schools and offices.
The abovementioned activity was led by the Chief Education Supervisor in SGOD, Mr. Arnold M. Peรฑalosa, who extended valuable technical assistance, thereby helping streamline the processes and ease the workload of the participants, assisted by Mr. Mark H. Sierras, SGOD Education Program Supervisor, whose support ensured that the tasks were carried out efficiently and in an organized manner.
