These flowers are wild.
No one planted them, no one cared for them, and most people barely notice them.
Sometimes, they’re even cut down without a second thought.

And yet… look at them.
They’re beautiful.
They stand tall with their own rare kind of beauty — untouched, unfiltered, unedited.

In life, we are often like these wildflowers.
Some people won’t see our worth.
Some may overlook us, judge us, or try to cut us down.
But remember this:
Your beauty, your strength, your value — it doesn’t depend on approval.

Grow anyway.
Shine quietly.
And never forget… even wildflowers bloom into something remarkable.

Bukid sa Cabas-an.
On this day, they had just finished harvesting the coconuts. In the video are my father, my mother, and the people who climbed and gathered the coconuts. I had just arrived to cut the grass and clear the bushes. This place is great for camping — the air is cool, the surroundings are green, and it’s very peaceful. The land isn’t ours; we’re just tenants taking care of it.

Mount Vulcan, commonly known as the Old Volcano, is one of the prominent volcanic landmarks on Camiguin Island, Philippines. It formed in 1871 during a flank eruption of Mount Hibok-Hibok, which devastated the town of Catarman and caused parts of the area, including its cemetery, to sink beneath the sea. The eruption lasted until 1875, reshaping Camiguin’s landscape and history. Despite being called the “Old Volcano,” Mount Vulcan is actually one of the island’s younger cones. Today, it’s a well-known historical and religious site, famous for the Walkway to the Old Volcano — a trail featuring the Stations of the Cross and panoramic views of the island and sea, symbolizing both Camiguin’s fiery past and its enduring resilience.

Walking down this road always amazes me — even though I’ve walked it countless times since childhood.
