Day 2 – March 12, 2026, the Reading assessment activity in Kinapat Elementary School Damulog, Bukidnon, was a true celebration of collaboration as the assessment team headed by of Public School District Supervisor Maria Stella Kaindoy Virtudes , the school heads of Damulog North District, and the language teachers of Old Damulog National High School led by School Head Charlyn Navarrosa Sabares , worked hand in hand with our dedicated Sangguniang Bayan Members councilors, Hon. Ronald Virtudazo, Hon.Rene S. Bon, and Hon. Alberto G. Salamasan, Sr.
The councilors’ presence was truly inspiring they actively engaged with the learners, encouraged the teachers, and ensured that the program had the needed support and resources to thrive. Hon. Virtudazo motivated everyone to give their best in teaching and reading activities, Hon. Bon shared meaningful moments reading with the children, and Hon.Salamasan, Sr. helped coordinate efforts to strengthen the program at the community level. Their combined support shows how committed our local government is to empowering learners through reading.
Special thanks as well to Sir Carl Casinabe , the school head of Kinapat Elementary School, and the teachers, and to the Barangay officials led by Barangay Captain Hon. Tessie Catanus, for their warm cooperation in making the activity successful. Salamat kaayo sa inyong tanan sa padayon nga suporta sa pagpabasa sa atong mga kabataan.

BULIG- LAMBO BASA Damulog Reading Assessment Team Monitoring
Day 1 - March 11,2026
Barangay Migcawayan,Damulog,Bukidnon

Today, the Assessment Team of BULIG–LAMBO BASA Damulog, together with the dedicated school heads of Damulog North District and the members of the Sangguniang Bayan, conducted a monitoring and assessment visit in Barangay Migcawayan. The activity was made even more meaningful with the presence and support of our local leaders who continue to believe in the vision of making every learner in Damulog a reader.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes to Vice Mayor Clinette Paco-Buro for taking time from her busy schedule to personally be with the assessment team. Your presence and encouragement truly inspired everyone involved in the program to continue giving their best so that all learners in Damulog will become empowered readers.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to Councilor Melven Labado Buro for your unwavering support. Salamat kaayo sa imong panahon ug sa imong pagpakabana sa pagpabasa sa atong mga kabataan. From the very beginning of the LAMBO BASA journey, you have been one of its strongest supporters. Your efforts in helping facilitate its approval and adoption as the Municipal Reading Program are deeply valued by the entire education community.
Our gratitude also goes to Councilor Marliou “Dodges” Lundas for inspiring us to always do our best in this advocacy. We are truly grateful for your continued support and encouragement in promoting reading among our learners.
Special thanks as well to Ma’am Maria Stella Kaindoy Virtudes our Public schools District Supervisor whose initiative and dedication helped bring this meaningful program to Damulog. Your commitment to literacy continues to inspire both educators and leaders to work together for the benefit of our learners.
And of course, our deepest appreciation goes to our very dedicated teachers, whose passion and patience in teaching children to read remain the heart of this advocacy. Your hard work ensures that the dream of a reading community in Damulog becomes a reality.
