A State of the School Address (SOSA) is more than a report—it is a moment of truth, reflection, and renewed commitment for everyone in the school community.

It reminds us that a school is not just defined by its buildings, programs, or achievements, but by the people who continuously work together to shape the future of learners. Hearing the accomplishments of the past year brings a sense of pride—proof that dedication, teamwork, and perseverance truly bear fruit. At the same time, recognizing the challenges humbles us. It shows that growth is an ongoing journey, not a destination.

Hon. Ricky B. Uchayan gave his Inspirational Message through the acronym of JPS. 1. Join hands with the School
2. Participate for progress
3. Sustain and support for success

The Inspirational Message of Hon. Ricky B. Uchayan, anchored on the acronym JPS, serves as a powerful reminder that the success of a school is a shared mission.

“Join hands with the School” emphasizes unity. Education thrives when stakeholders—teachers, parents, community leaders, and learners—work together with one heart and one goal. It reminds us that no one can build a strong school alone; it takes collaboration and trust.

“Participate for Progress” calls for active involvement. Progress is not achieved by mere presence but through meaningful participation. Whether in school programs, activities, or decision-making, every contribution—big or small—moves the school forward.

“Sustain and Support for Success” highlights the importance of consistency and commitment. Success is not a one-time achievement; it must be nurtured and maintained. Continuous support, encouragement, and dedication ensure that the gains of today will flourish in the future.

Overall, the JPS message inspires everyone to take ownership of the school’s journey. It reminds us that when we unite, participate, and sustain our efforts, success becomes not just possible, but inevitable.

|| Finding Time to Read ||

Reading opens the door to knowledge, imagination, and opportunity. Through the books generously given by Give and Restore Hope Children's Charity, our pupils were given more than just reading materials — they were given hope, inspiration, and the chance to explore new worlds.

As we observed the learners during their reading time, we saw excitement in their eyes and curiosity in every page they turned. Some discovered new words, others connected with stories that reflected their own experiences, and many simply enjoyed the quiet joy of reading. The books became bridges — connecting their dreams to possibilities beyond the classroom.

This initiative reminded us that access to books greatly impacts a child’s learning journey. When children are provided with resources, they become more confident readers, critical thinkers, and lifelong learners.

We are truly grateful to GHRCC for planting seeds of knowledge in the hearts of our pupils. May these books continue to nurture their minds and inspire them to dream bigger.
