The Tibucag Integrated School happily celebrated the end of National Reading Month with a Theme: “Tulay ang Pagbasa sa Bukas na Puno ng Pag-asa”.
The day was filled with fun, learning, and excitement for everyone. Learners came wearing their Book Character Costumes, bringing their favorite story characters to life. We also enjoyed Story telling and Read Aloud activities, where different stories were shared and appreciated by all. Also, the Spelling activity showed how confident and skilled our learners are when it comes to words.

This celebration reminded us that reading helps us learn, grow, and dream of a better future. Through reading, we open our minds to new ideas and new possibilities.🙏

The “Oplan K*K: Kaagapay sa Kalinaw ug Kalamboan” program was conducted on November 12, 2025 at Sitio Tibucag, Barangay Dagohoy, Talaingod, Davao del Norte headed by our very own leader, the Governor of Davao del Norte, Governor Edwin I. Jubahib and Vice Governor Clarice T. Jubahib together with his team with the goal of extending assistance and support to the community. The activity promoted social welfare, environmental awareness, and educational support. One of the major highlights of the program was the free processing of birth certificates, which helped residents, especially indigent families to secure important legal document in promoting civil registration and ensuring that every citizen’s identity is properly documented. Also, health services by providing free check-ups and medicines, anti-rabies and vitamins Alongside this, the team distributed rice packs to families as part of the organization’s relief and social welfare assistance. This simple gesture aimed to provide immediate help to households struggling with daily needs and to promote community solidarity. In support of environmental and agricultural development, pesticides, insecticides, and tree seedlings were also distributed to local farmers and residents. This encouraged sustainable farming practices and environmental preservation through reforestation efforts. To inspire young learners, school bags and slippers were given to children in the community. This educational assistance aimed to motivate students to attend school regularly and to support them with basic learning necessities.

Overall, the outreach program was a meaningful and successful activity that brought together various sectors of the community. It strengthened the spirit of bayanihan and showcased the value of compassion, volunteerism, and collective effort in uplifting the lives of others. It brought smiles and hope to many beneficiaries. It served as a reminder that compassion and service can make a lasting impact on the lives of others. The organizers and volunteers expressed fulfillment and commitment to continue advocating for programs that nurture both people of Sitio Tibucag and its community.
