Arizona Elementary School kicked off the week by recognizing the achievements of its learners in Billiards and News Writing.

Despite her busy schedule, School Principal Ma’am Robie Cel O. Layan made time to personally check on the learners, congratulate the winners, and extend her support to those who participated in the Journalism Training.

Her gesture reflects the school’s commitment to recognizing learners’ efforts and encouraging them to pursue excellence in both sports and campus journalism.

YOUNG PENS, BRIGHT FUTURES: THE HILLTOP GLEAM SHINES

Arizona Elementary School proudly celebrates the participation of our young journalists in the Division Training for Campus Journalism, where they had the opportunity to enhance their skills, gain new experiences, and grow in confidence as aspiring campus journalists.

Adding to the school’s pride, Lyel Janine Cabangbang earned 2nd Place in News Writing, a remarkable achievement that reflects her dedication, talent, and hard work.

More than the awards, we celebrate all our learner-journalists who represented Arizona ES with courage and enthusiasm. Their participation would not have been possible without the strong support of our community.

A heartfelt thank you to our BLGU Arizona headed by Hon. Ferdinand P. Develleres for providing transportation/rides, and to the parents and guardians who generously supported our learners with food and allowances throughout the training. We also extend our appreciation to the school administration spearheaded by Ma’am Robie Cel Amar-Ogatis Layan , our journalism coaches, Ma’am Analie D. ARIZONA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL celebrates another sporting achievement as its Team Billiards with their coach Ma’am Jonalyn J. Cariaga delivered an impressive performance at the Municipal Athletic Meet 2026.

Princess Lhejan C. Candole secured the Championship title in the 9-Balls Category and Altheah C. Vallehermosa earned 3rd Place in the 8-Balls Category showcasing exceptional skill, focus, and sportsmanship.

Last Monday, our school was filled with the spirit of bayanihan, cooperation, and community service as the 4Ps beneficiaries of Barangay Arizona came together for a meaningful TAGBO activity at our school. 💚

Their presence and willingness to lend a helping hand made a significant difference in making our school environment cleaner, safer, and more welcoming for our learners. 🌿 BAYANIHAN SA PAARALAN: Grade 6 Parents, Kabalikat sa Pagpapaunlad ng Paaralan 🤝

Taos-pusong pasasalamat sa ating Grade 6 Parents sa kanilang aktibong pakikiisa sa Bayanihan sa Paaralan ngayong buwan ng Agosto.

Ang kanilang oras, pagsisikap, at pagtutulungan ay malaking ambag sa pagpapanatili ng kalinisan, kaayusan, at magandang kapaligiran para sa ating mga mag-aaral.

🏫 UPDATE ON THE ONGOING REPAIR OF 10 CLASSROOMS

Arizona Elementary School continues to work closely with our partners to ensure the safe, proper, and timely completion of the ongoing repairs of our 10 classrooms.

A coordination meeting was recently conducted among the School Principal, DPWH representatives, DepEd Engineer, and the Contractor to discuss the latest updates, progress, and concerns regarding the ongoing classroom rehabilitation on Monday, August 10.

Teachers who will be the direct users of the affected classrooms were also invited to the meeting. This was done to ensure that they are properly informed of the circumstances and technical considerations that necessitated the extension of the repair period.

While we understand the eagerness of our teachers and learners to return to their regular classrooms, we also recognize that quality and safety must come first. The repairs are expected to be completed by October, and we remain hopeful that our teachers and learners will soon be able to return to their improved, safer, and more conducive classrooms.

We sincerely appreciate the patience, understanding, and cooperation of our teachers, learners, parents, and the entire school community as we work together toward better learning facilities.
