๐Ÿ“ฃJUST IN: DepEd issues Guidelines on the Grant of Wellness Leave

The Department of Education (DepEd) has released the DepEd Order No. 002, s. 2026 โ€“ Guidelines on the Grant of Wellness Leave for the Department of Education Personnel.

All eligible DepEd employees, including teachers and directly engaged Contract of Service (COS) and Job Order (JO) personnel, can avail themselves of the Wellness Leave (WL) for mental health care, physical activities, or a general break for a maximum of five (5) days, pursuant to Civil Service Commission (CSC) Memorandum Circular (MC) No. 01, s. 2026.

๐ŸŒฑ Ultimately, this policy acknowledges the critical role of mental health and well-being, providing DepEd personnel with the necessary flexibility to prioritize self-care without exhausting their existing leave credits.

Ang tunay na pagmamahal sa serbisyo ay nagsisimula sa pag-aalaga sa sarili. Kaya naman, handog ng Department of Education (DepEd) sa araw ng mga puso ang Wellness Leave!

Ito ay bahagi ng patuloy na pagbibigay-priyoridad ng DepEd at administrasyon ni Pangulong Bongbong Marcos sa mental health at pangkalahatang kalusugan ng ating mga kawani.

INFORMATION DRIVE

Personnel of the President Roxas Municipal Police Station (PRMPS) conducted an information drive on Drug Awareness and Republic Act 7610 (Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act) to Grade 4 to Grade 5 pupils of Satinitigan Elememntary School, Brgy. New Cebu, President Roxas, Cotabato on February 10, 2026.

The activity aimed to educate pupils on the dangers and ill effects of illegal drugs, emphasize the importance of making healthy and responsible life choices at an early age, and increase awareness of childrenโ€™s rights. It also sought to prevent child abuse and exploitation while promoting a safe, caring, and protective school environment.
