Malapag High School Hosts Ongoing Boy Scout School Camporal
The Boy Scout School Camporal is currently underway at Malapag High School, bringing together Boy Scouts from Malapag High School and Baroyon Integrated High School for a meaningful gathering focused on leadership, teamwork, discipline, and service.
The 3-day school camporal, September 9-11, 2026, provides the participating scouts with opportunities to develop important life skills through various scouting activities. Beyond outdoor experiences, the event aims to strengthen camaraderie, self-reliance, responsibility, and leadership among young scouts. Such activities also help students put into practice the values they learn in school and in the scouting movement.
The event is headed by Hamzahari Draper, with the assistance and support of other outfit advisers who are helping facilitate the different activities and ensure the smooth implementation of the camporal.
Parents of the participating scouts are also present to witness the investiture ceremony and show their support for their children. Their presence highlights the important role of families in encouraging young people to participate in activities that promote personal growth, discipline, cooperation, and community involvement.
As the camporal continues, scouts from the two participating schools are expected to engage in activities prepared by personnel from PNP-Carmen, DOH-Carmen and MDRMM. The activities are designed to challenge their skills, strengthen friendships, and foster the spirit of scouting.
The ongoing School Camporal at Malapag High School serves not only as an avenue for fun and learning but also as a valuable experience that helps prepare young people to become responsible, capable, and service-oriented members of their communities.
