The College of Education (CE) placed first runner-up in the Quiz Bowl Competition held on August 14, 2026, at the Library Media Resource Center of the Cotabato Foundation College of Science and Technology (CFCST).
The competition served as the highlight event of the Special Category of the Local Culture and Arts Festival, held as part of the CFCST 3-in-1 Fest. Nine participants from different departments and extension units of CFCST competed in the battle of the brains in the category of Philippine General Studies, covering Geography, Politics, History, and Culture.
Representing the College of Education were Ervan Jay C. Estorpe, BSEd Science 2; Aljon C. Gallebot, BSEd Mathematics 3; Marriane S. Napitan, BSEd English 2; and Elisha Kish C. Mapalinta, BSEd English 1, with Judy Ann N. Cadali as their coach.
The CE team secured the first runner-up position at the conclusion of the competition, placing among the participating departments and extension units in the said category.
The result highlighted the participation of CE students in academic activities beyond the classroom, particularly in areas related to Philippine geography, politics, history, and culture.
