In view of the security clearance issued by the 40th Infantry Battalion (40IB), Philippine Army, confirming that the affected areas are already cleared and safe for the return of residents, all civilians who were temporarily displaced or evacuated are hereby directed and advised to return to their respective homes in an orderly and peaceful manner.
Likewise, all schools within the affected areas are hereby authorized to resume regular classes, effective September 22, 2026 @ 10: 30 in the morning, subject to the assessment and readiness of the respective School Heads and concerned authorities.
All residents are advised to:
Return to their respective homes peacefully and in an orderly manner;
Coordinate with their Barangay Officials and local authorities during the return;
Remain vigilant and immediately report any suspicious activities, unexploded ordinance, or other security concerns to the proper authorities;
Follow all safety and security advisories issued by the Philippine Army, PNP, Barangay Officials, and the Municipal Government;
Ensure the safety and welfare of children, senior citizens, persons with disabilities, and other vulnerable individuals during the return.
All School Heads and teaching personnel are likewise directed to coordinate with the Municipal Government, Barangay Officials, and concerned security authorities to ensure that school premises are safe and ready before the full resumption of classes.
The Municipal Government of Tugunan recognizes the cooperation and patience of all affected residents, parents, students, teachers, barangay officials, and other stakeholders during the period of temporary displacement.
Everyone is enjoined to remain calm, cooperative, and vigilant as we gradually return to normal community activities.
