YES-O actively took part in the school-wide clean-up drive held on September 10–12, together with the different organizations of DNHS.

Our members and officers showed dedication in fulfilling our mission of keeping the campus clean and green. 🌱✨

To keep the science garden clean and functional, YES-O forefronts a science garden clean-up activity participated by its officers and members. This action was led by STE Advisers including Ma'am Rose Ann Marie De Castro, headed by the newly-promoted Head Teacher III, Ma'am Rugie Joy Madrones.

Indeed, YES-O takes the lead in keeping a clean and green Dilangalen! Staying true with its commitment, the eco warriors stand firm in mending what is broken, one piece at a time.

𝗬𝗘𝗦-𝗢 & 𝗧𝗟𝗘 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯 𝘁𝗼 𝗘𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗚𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻

YES-O, in collaboration with the TLE Department, conducted an enhancement and clean-up activity at the gulayan sa paaralan of Dilangalen National High School. YES-O's collab with Gulayan sa Paaralan Program (GPP) under TLE Department was made possible through their support and cooperation, headed by Ma'am Lorybhec B. Boholano and Sir Melgine J. Tayong.

Indeed, YES-O takes the lead in keeping a clean and green Dilangalen! Staying true with its commitment, the eco warriors stand firm in mending what is broken, one piece at a time.

As the Kahugyawan 2025 kicks off, the YES-O officers along with the members of the organization were committed on their duty in keeping the campus clean. This proves that anywhere and anytime an eco-warrior will always embody their advocacy through maintaining the cleanliness of the school.

This upholds the YES-O values and principles in promoting a greener, cleaner and a more sustainable environment—showcasing the collaborative efforts from the officers and members.

We would also like to congratulate the members who showed their dedication and participation on the said clean-up drive. Keep it up as you are one step ahead of claiming your eco badge✨

𝐘𝐄𝐒-𝐎 𝐒𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬' 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

MIDSYAP, COTABATO — On August 13, 2025, approximately 100 students of Dilangalen National High School (DNHS) gathered to be the agents of change at the Youth for Environment and School Organization (YES-O) Orientation — a start not merely a meeting.

It was such an honor to have Dr. Ermie E. Rabara, P-IV, and Ma'am Rugie Joy O. Madrones, HT-III, as speakers for the organization's purposeful event

Together, the organization is nurturing the sustainability of the future through their projects, activities, and decisions for the environment.

𝐃𝐍𝐇𝐒 𝐘𝐄𝐒-𝐎 𝐉𝐎𝐈𝐍𝐒 𝟏𝐒𝐓 𝐃𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍-𝐖𝐈𝐃𝐄 𝐘𝐄𝐒-𝐎 𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐏 🌱⛰️

BARANGAY BANNAWAG, KABACAN — We, the Dilangalen National High School YES-O, express our deepest gratitude to all the personnel who made this event possible.

Arriving at Bannawag High School, we who joined the YES-O Camp were greeted with a welcome radiating happiness and peace. At the beginning of the event, we witnessed a captivating traditional dance from the indigenous people of Kabacan, prompting us to join. After a bit of hesitation, we did so.

The first day of the event revolved around us taking part in stations designed for active learning. We experienced all there is to experience and beyond a camp—learning, understanding, and witnessing the beauty of the event and Kabacan in general.

Being able to meet all those great, talented minds was a privilege in itself. And again, it was truly an honor being part of this monumental event. May this inspire others, and may this event continue for the years to follow.

On July 9, 2025, YES-O joined Wash Patrol, BKD, Ang Sayap, and SSLG to plant native trees in Barangay Upper Bulanan — a shared commitment to healing our environment and growing hope for tomorrow’s climate. 🌳🌎

JUST IN: As the school clubs and organizations election officially began, Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) conducted an election to name the new set of officers for S.Y 2025-2026.

Being firm on its advocacy of mending what is broken, one piece at a time, the newly-elected officers and its advisers were set to lead the organization's activities for the entire school year.

𝐘𝐄𝐒-𝐎 teamed up with 𝐒𝐒𝐋𝐆, 𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐏, 𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐒, 𝐀𝐑𝐇, 𝐁𝐒𝐏, 𝐆𝐒𝐏, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐩 for our first joint cleanup drive in line with the celebration of the Philippine Environment Month! 🌎 We focused on outdoor spaces—from hallways to hidden corners—helping Dilangalen NHS shine cleaner .
