The Youth Formation Division (YFD) of the Department of Education (DepEd) will conduct a virtual celebration of the International Youth Day 2022 with the theme, “Intergenerational Solidarity: Creating A World for All Ages” on 12 August 2022, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m., Friday via the DepEd Tayo- Youth Formation Official page. To commemorate this meaningful event, a series of pre-event activities will be held on 08-11 August 2022, 2:00-4:00 PM on the same online platform.
This event is a virtual gathering to amplify the message that action is needed across all generations to achieve the SDGs and leave no one behind. The 2022 International Youth Day will also raise awareness on certain barriers to intergenerational solidarity, notably ageism, which impacts young and old persons while having detrimental effects on society as a whole. Also, it will provide a venue to engage and mobilize learners with various backgrounds in participating in various interactive and participatory youth activities anchored on DepEd Core Values (Maka-Diyos, Makatao, Makakalikasan, Makatao, at Makabansa).
Kaya kapit lang at abangan ang mga susunod na updates!
