BACONG, TULUNAN – Students from 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 conducted a clean-up drive in Barangay as part of their contribution to the upcoming Foundation Anniversary.

Members of CTP, SSLG, YES-O, Boy Scouts, and Girl Scouts of the Philippines joined together to collect garbage and beautify public areas in the barangay.

The activity was led by Ma’am 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐕𝐢𝐚 and Sir 𝐀𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐰 𝐄𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐧. It aimed to promote unity, civic responsibility, and environmental awareness among student leaders.

Barangay officials thanked the students for their support in preparing the barangay for the school’s Foundation Anniversary celebration.

Sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika 2026 na may temang “Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon”, muling sumilay ang talino at malikhaing gilas ng ating mga mag-aaral.

Ngayong araw, ipinamalas ng mga piling mag-aaral mula sa iba’t ibang seksyon ang kanilang husay sa sining sa pamamagitan ng Poster Making Contest na ginanap sa ICT Room ng paaralan.

Kaakibat ng tema ngayong taon, ginamit nila ang AI-generated images bilang inspirasyon, at mula rito ay nakalikha sila ng kani-kanilang sariling interpretasyon sa tradisyonal na paggawa ng poster.

BACONG — Three teachers from 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 attended the PRES PLAY: Division Training Workshop for School Paper Advisers on August 8-9, 2026 at Dilangalen National High School.

The participants were Ms. Maria Stella Porras, Filipino School Paper Adviser; Sir Andrew L. Edian, English School Paper Adviser; and Sir John Kenny Escarlan.

The 2-day training aimed to equip advisers with updated strategies in news writing, layout, photojournalism, and coaching student writers for upcoming division and regional press conferences.

With the knowledge gained, the three advisers are set to cascade the learnings to their student writers and prepare the school paper for future activities in Campus Journalism.

𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 recently joined the District Athletic Meet held on August 8-9, 2026 at Banayal, Tulunan, Cotabato.

Present during the event were School Principal Alvin Evardo, the team coaches, and teachers of Bacong NHS who guided and supported the student-athletes throughout the competition.

The school extends its congratulations to all Bacong NHS athletes for giving their best shot and representing the school with pride and sportsmanship.

The school also expressed its sincere appreciation to everyone who worked hand in hand to make the participation possible, especially to the parents and teachers for their unwavering support and cooperation.

Bacong NHS continues to encourage students to excel not only in academics but also in sports and other school activities.

Composed of 18 strong individuals — 16 teaching personnel and 2 non-teaching staff— the school stands as a united team committed to the growth and success of every learner.

Just like the eagle, the official symbol of Bacong High, the school community embodies strength, focus, and the drive to rise above challenges. The eagle does not fear heights. It soars, it leads, and it never settles for less. That same spirit fuels the teachers, staff, and students of Bacong High as they work together for the betterment of both learners and the institution.

At the helm of this soaring team is School Principal Sir Alvin Evardo. Under his leadership, Bacong High has strengthened its commitment to quality education, discipline, and service.

Opisyal na binuksan ng 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 ang pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika 2026 ngayong Agosto 3, 2026, sa pamamagitan ng isang makabuluhan at makawikang Flag Ceremony. Tampok sa pagdiriwang ang temang “𝙒𝙞𝙠𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙁𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙤 𝙖𝙩 𝘼𝙄: 𝙆𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙠𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙣 𝙨𝙖 𝙋𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙨𝙞𝙠 𝙖𝙩 𝙏𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙮 𝙨𝙖 𝙔𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙣 𝙣𝙜 𝙄𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙨𝙮𝙤𝙣”.

Pinangunahan ang programa ng koordineytor sa Filipino, Bb. Maria Stella G. Porras, katuwang ang kanyang mga mag-aaral. Bilang pagpapakita ng pagkakaisa at pagpapahalaga sa ating kultura at pambansang wika, nakiisa ang mga g**o at kawani ng paaralan sa pagsusuot ng Filipiniana, Barong Tagalog, at katutubong kasuotan.

Naging mas makulay ang pagbubukas sa mga inihandang gawain at makawikang pakulo na masiglang nilahukan ng mga mag-aaral, sa pangunguna ng Punongg**o ng paaralan, G. Alvin C. Evardo.

Ang matagumpay na pagbubukas ng Buwan ng Wika ay nagsisilbing paanyaya sa buong komunidad ng Bacong National High School na patuloy na pahalagahan, pagyamanin, at gamitin ang Wikang Filipino bilang sagisag ng ating pagkakakilanlan, kultura, at pagkakaisa, kasabay ng responsableng paggamit ng makabagong teknolohiya.

𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 celebrated its School Intramurals dubbed "𝘒'𝘍𝘶𝘭𝘶𝘯𝘨: 𝘎𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘧 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘮𝘱𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴" during weekends.

The activity aimed to showcase student talents in sports while promoting camaraderie and healthy competition among learners.

Leading the event was MAPEH Coordinator Sir James Bryan Subiate. Also present to support the students were the teachers and School Principal Sir Alvin Evardo.

With cheers, teamwork, and determination, K'Fulung proved that Bacong High is truly a gathering of champions — in sports, in character, and in unity.

𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 Celebrates Nutrition Month Through TLE Integration

In line with the national observance of Nutrition Month, Bacong National High School integrated nutrition activities into the Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) subject to promote healthy eating and wellness among learners.

With this year’s theme: “𝙉𝙪𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙮𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙩 𝙆𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙣: 𝘼𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙖𝙣!” the school emphasized the importance of proper nutrition in achieving academic excellence and a healthy lifestyle. Leading the activity were the TLE Department Ma’am Elvilyn Lanado, T-III, and Ma’am Ellanie Tayongtong.

The activity embodied Bacong NHS’ commitment to holistic education — nurturing both the minds and well-being of learners, in line with the school’s mantra "Bacong High, Soaring High."

𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 has started the on-going construction 𝗧𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗻𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟯 to provide better and safer facilities for our learners.

The project is funded through the 2nd Quarter MOOE and is part of the school’s commitment to "Providing Better Facilities for Kabataang Tribu."

Under the leadership of School Principal 𝗔𝗹𝘃𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗼, the new TLS aims to create a more conducive learning environment for both teachers and students while other school buildings are being improved.
