The STICC SHS Guidance Hub conducted a Poster-Making Contest in celebration of Su***de Prevention Month, carrying the theme, “Your Life Matters: Speak Up, Reach Out, Stay Connected.” 💛

The activity aimed to encourage students to express their creativity while promoting awareness about su***de prevention, mental health, and the importance of seeking support. Through their artwork, students shared meaningful messages that remind everyone that every life has value, no one has to face struggles alone, and reaching out for help is a sign of strength.

This activity also emphasized the importance of building a supportive and connected school community where students feel heard, understood, and valued. ✨

💜RACE AGAINST SU***DE: GATEKEEPER TRAINING💜

On September 10, 2026, the RACE Against Su***de: A Gatekeeper Approach to Mental Health and Crisis support was successfully conducted at Notre Dame University.

The training brought together participants committed to strengthening their knowledge and skills in su***de prevention, mental health awareness, and early intervention. It emphasized the importance of recognizing warning signs, listening with empathy, providing appropriate support, and connecting individuals to professional help when needed.

As members of the school community, we all have a role to play in creating an environment where every student feels heard, understood, supported, and valued. Sometimes, a simple conversation, a listening ear, or knowing when and where to seek help can make an important difference.

Let us continue to RACE toward hope, compassion, and a community that cares.

Together, let us help build a community where mental health matters and no one has to face their struggles alone.

STI COLLEGE COTABATO IS A SAFE ZONE!!! ✨️✨️
STI College Cotabato will never tolerate situations of bullying and discrimination. We make sure that inside the school premises, learning is the primary focus of students. We make sure that students are safe and secure within the four corners of the institution.
The following measures are implemented to ensure our school is a SAFE Zone:
1. Security --- All bags brought by students are inspected upon entering the school. Visitors are required to write on a logbook for record purposes. CCTVs, inside and outside the classrooms, are installed and monitored.
2. Access to Guidance Personnel --- We have Personnel assigned in the Senior HS and Tertiary Departments for the psychological assistance of our Students, both for those bullied and bullies. We recognize that bullies also need help, so there is a careful process followed in cases of bullying.
3. Foster Respect and Inclusivity --- Our Students are taught, thru words and deeds of the STI Personnel, that differences do not matter. Respect is given regardless of religion, sexual orientation, tribe, and physical “make-up”.
4. Efficient Service --- We aim not to be excellent but to be efficient in serving our students. Feedbacking can easily be done by scanning the QR Codes placed on strategic areas within the school premises. Comments and queries can be directed to our official pages and are ensured that responses are given within 5 minutes. STI Personnel are trained to be proactive and not just responsive.
We are STIers. We are respectful. Here, WE ARE BUDDIES, NOT BADDIES. Coz we are .
