We are delighted to share the successful defense of the Science Investigatory Projects (SIPs) of our 2nd Year IT and Social Work students under the guidance of one of our dedicated Science Instructors, Ma’am Aleha A. Abdulrahman, LPT, from the College of Education. Their innovative works reflect a strong commitment to solving real-world challenges through creativity, research, and scientific inquiry.

|| A stage play presentation highlighting selected pieces from Philippine and World Literature was held under the guidance of Instructor Farhan M. Umpar, LPT, whose creativity brought out the best in the students.

The plays featured classic works such as Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream, alongside Philippine epics and tales including Alim, Sidapa and Bulan, and Biag ni Lam-Ang.

To honor the efforts of the performers, awards were given in the following categories: Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Narrator, Best Director, and Best in Film Poster. These recognitions highlighted the students’ artistry and commitment to excellence both on stage and beyond.

𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗧𝗢 𝗢𝗕𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗘 𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗢𝗘𝗦 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱

The National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) in cooperation with the Department of National Defense and the City of Taguig will hold a commemorative program at the Libingan ng mga Bayani, Taguig City on 25 August 2025 for the observance of National Heroes Day.

With the theme ‘Isang Diwa, Isang Lahi, Isang Bayanihan,’ President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. will lead the commemoration as Guest of Honor with Executive Secretary Lucas P. Bersamin, Defense Secretary Gilberto C. Teodoro, Jr., AFP Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Romeo Brawner, NHCP Chairman Regalado Trota Jose Jr., and Taguig City Mayor Ma. Laarni “Lani” Cayetano also taking part in the observance.

Republic Act No. 9492 designated the last Monday of August as National Heroes Day, serving as an opportunity for the nation to remember the sacrifices and contributions of all Filipino heroes and the bravery they exemplified for our people.

This year’s commemoration will include an unveiling of the monument ‘Unsung Heroes,’ also at the Libingan ng mga Bayani.

The NHCP is the national government agency mandated to promote Philippine history through its museums, research, and publications, and to preserve historical heritage through conservation and the marking of historic sites and structures.

this special ceremony honored the determination, discipline, and dreams of our graduates who have officially earned their licenses as professional educators.
