The 4th-year Criminology students of St. Benedict College of Cotabato, Inc. took a step out of the classroom and straight into the halls of justice!

As part of their academic requirements for CLJ 6: Criminal Procedure and Court Practices, our future law enforcers and legal professionals attended and observed an actual, live court hearing at the Shari'ah District Court 5, Cotabato City.

This invaluable, hands-on experience gave students direct exposure to real-world judicial processes, bridging the gap between textbook concepts and actual courtroom proceedings.

Our utmost gratitude to the Honorable Ysnaira A. Ibrahim for presiding and accommodating our students, and to our dedicated professors, Atty. Mohammad M. Hadji Yusoph and Ms. Alma Sitjar, for guiding and supervising them throughout this educational activity.

Step by step, we are building the future defenders of justice!

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the Sixteen (16) dedicated criminology interns who satisfactorily completed and rendered Two-hundred Seventy (270) hours of Practicum 1: Community Immersion, under the supervision of Criminology Program Head Ma'am Alma Sitjar, RCrim. This initiative, themed "From Theory to Community: Through Experience and Service," seamlessly bridged academic knowledge with real-world engagement to foster safer communities.

A special thanks to Barangay Rosary Height IX, led by Hon. Israel A. Datukaka and Barangay Secretary Ma'am Jodelyn Orquez for their exemplary partnership
