The 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 of 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 – 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 warmly welcomed its newest members through the 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, a celebration filled with unity, excitement, and meaningful moments as we officially embrace the incoming students into the Business Department family.

The celebration brought together freshmen and continuing students through fun-filled activities, games, and shared experiences that encouraged everyone to step beyond their usual circles and build new connections. More than just an event, the Burungitan Rites provided an opportunity for students to feel welcomed, included, and connected as they begin another chapter of their university journey.

The activity also featured an engaging 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 facilitated by representatives from 𝐁𝐃𝐎, which provided students with valuable insights on financial awareness, responsible money management, saving, and making informed financial decisions. The discussion served as an important learning opportunity, especially for students as they begin developing financial habits that can benefit them both during their academic journey and in the future.

The celebration also featured the organization recruitment, led by 𝐌𝐫. 𝐉𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐥 𝐓𝐚𝐡𝐮𝐝, a 𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞, who guided the freshmen in getting acquainted with the different opportunities for involvement within the organization. This provided our newest students with an avenue to discover ways to participate, connect, and become more engaged members of the Business Department community.

Through laughter, teamwork, friendly competition, and active participation, the activity highlighted the importance of unity, cooperation, camaraderie, and sportsmanship within the Business Department. These moments created lasting memories while strengthening the bond among students across different year levels.

As we welcome our newest Business students, may you find not only knowledge and opportunities within the university, but also a community that supports, inspires, and grows with you. May this be the beginning of friendships, experiences, and memories that will make your college journey even more meaningful.

The 𝐏𝐒𝐔 𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭, held on 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟑, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, at the 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐮𝐦, brought the 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐒𝐔–𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 community together for an evening filled with excitement, entertainment, and camaraderie. It was a celebration of the talents and creativity of students who came together to make the night truly special.

The 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 of 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 – 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 actively participated in the Students’ Orientation and Re-orientation Program, an activity designed to help students begin the new academic year with a clearer understanding of the university, its services, and their responsibilities as members of the PalawanSU community.

The discussions covered important aspects of the university, beginning with the 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐒𝐔–𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 𝐇𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲, which gave students a glimpse into the institution’s journey and development. The 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬 was introduced by 𝐌𝐫. 𝐉𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐊𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫 𝐙. 𝐆𝐨𝐧𝐳𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬, 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞, allowing students to become familiar with the individuals entrusted with leading and supporting the university community.

The orientation further featured the 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐒𝐔 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐆𝐨𝐚𝐥𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐎𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 (𝐕𝐆𝐌𝐎), 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲, and 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐆𝐨𝐚𝐥𝐬 (𝐒𝐃𝐆𝐬), presented by 𝐃𝐫. 𝐅𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨 𝐌. The discussion gave students a better understanding of the principles and directions that guide the university and helped connect their roles and everyday experiences with the broader goals of the institution.

Students were likewise acquainted with various offices and programs that cater to their needs and well-being. 𝐌𝐬. 𝐉𝐨𝐚𝐧 𝐎. 𝐊𝐨𝐧𝐠, 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫, introduced the 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬, providing students with information on matters concerning their academic records and related services. 𝐌𝐬. 𝐆𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐲 𝐌. 𝐄𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐞, 𝐎𝐒𝐀𝐒 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫, discussed 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐟𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬, highlighting the programs and assistance available to students throughout their university journey.

The 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 discussion was facilitated by 𝐌𝐫. 𝐄𝐧𝐫𝐢𝐜 𝐉𝐞𝐠𝐨 𝐄𝐧𝐫𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐳, 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐫, and 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐲. 𝐀𝐥𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐂. Lastly, 𝐌𝐬. 𝐉𝐮𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐲𝐧 𝐏. 𝐅𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐧, 𝐆𝐀𝐃 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫, discussed 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐆𝐀𝐃), emphasizing the university’s commitment to promoting awareness, inclusivity, equality, and a respectful environment for all members of the university community. Through these discussions, students became more informed about the offices, services, and programs available to support their academic, personal, and overall university experience.

Burungitan Rites 2026 has officially welcomed the newest members of the PalawanSU – Coron Campus community! 🧡

More than just a welcoming activity, Burungitan Rites served as a celebration of new beginnings, new friendships, and new opportunities as our freshmen took their first steps into university life.

From interactive games that brought everyone together, to engaging intermission numbers that showcased the energy and talents of our students, the event was filled with moments that made the beginning of their PalawanSU journey truly memorable. 🎉

The freshmen were also introduced to the diverse organizations they can become part of throughout their university journey. Department-based organizations opened their doors to welcome and recruit new members:

As part of the continuing efforts to maintain a clean and orderly learning environment, the BSBA students actively participated in the Campus Clean-Up Drive.

Through teamwork and cooperation, the BSBA students worked together in their assigned areas to help keep the campus clean and organized. More than just a clean-up activity, it reflects their discipline, unity, and shared responsibility in creating a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming campus for everyone.
