The 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘀 (𝗬𝗕𝗣) of the 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 – 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 successfully conducted its 𝗧𝘂𝗿𝗻-𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆 on 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 25, 2026, marking the formal transition of leadership from the former officers to the newly elected set of officers.

The ceremony served as a meaningful passing of responsibilities, documents, and commitments as the former officers formally turned over their respective duties to the new officers. This transition represents not only a change in leadership but also the continuity of YBP’s commitment to student development, academic responsibilities, organizational activities, departmental programs, and opportunities for professional growth.

The program was hosted by 𝗝𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗹 𝗧𝗮𝗵𝘂𝗱, who served as the 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗲𝘀 throughout the event.

The ceremony began with the 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗿. 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗲 𝗗. 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗿, who shared an inspiring reminder about leadership and personal growth, emphasizing that leadership help shapes who we become and that being a student leader provides opportunities to step out of our comfort zones and build strong foundation in life.

The program continued with the 𝗚𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 to the former officers in recognition of their dedication, service, and contributions to the organization.

A significant part of the ceremony was the 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻-𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗱𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 between the former and newly elected officers, particularly for the positions of 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆, 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗿, 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿 (𝗣.𝗥.𝗢.). This symbolic act represented the passing of trust, accountability, and responsibility to the new set of leaders.

The ceremony concluded with the 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗟𝘆𝗻𝗿𝗼 𝗣. 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗼, who left the officers with an inspiring reminder through the words of Cong TV:
"𝑴𝒂𝒕𝒂 𝒔𝒂 𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒊𝒕, 𝒑𝒂𝒂 𝒔𝒂 𝒍𝒖𝒑𝒂. 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒑 𝒏𝒈 𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒂𝒂𝒔, 𝒕𝒖𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒏 𝒏𝒈 𝒑𝒂𝒕𝒂𝒔."

May this new chapter of leadership be guided by purpose, responsibility, and genuine service. As the new officers take on their roles, may they continue to uphold the values of 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘀 and create meaningful opportunities for every student.

The 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 – 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 successfully conducted its 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 on September 11, 2026, bringing together students and faculty members for an informative and meaningful discussion on student development, academic responsibilities, organizational activities, departmental programs, and opportunities for professional growth.
The program formaly started with an Opening remarks by 𝗠𝗿. 𝗝𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗞𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿 𝗭. 𝗚𝗼𝗻𝘇𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀, BSBA Faculty, who emphasized the significance behind every achievement, reminding students that behind every report is a story, and behind every accomplishment is a role.

𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗢𝗙 𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗘𝗦

The Department student activities was presented by 𝗠𝗿. 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗟𝘆𝗻𝗿𝗼 𝗣. 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗼, Department Adviser, which featured various programs and opportunities designed to enhance students' knowledge, skills, leadership, and professional development. These included:
• Seminars and training initiatives, including opportunities to enhance Digital Marketing skills
• 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁, promoting students' businesses and products
• 𝗬𝗕𝗣 𝗗𝗮𝘆/ 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗗𝗮𝘆
• 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁
• 𝗕𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹
• 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿-𝗘𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆
• Opportunities through national organizations such as 𝗝𝗠𝗔𝗣/𝗣𝗝𝗠𝗔 (𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻), focusing on maximizing students' marketing knowledge through conferences, training, awards, and other professional activities
• 𝗝𝗖𝗙𝗔𝗣 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀, including Financial Literacy Caravans, exclusive services and training, nationwide competitions, internships, and professional networking.

𝗠𝗿. 𝗝𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗞𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿 𝗭. 𝗚𝗼𝗻𝘇𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 also provided additional presentation and information about the Extension activities of the Department and encourage them to be part of this endeavor.

𝗕𝗦𝗕𝗔 𝗔𝗖𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗖 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗗𝗘𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗣𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗘𝗦

𝗗𝗿. 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗲 𝗗. 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗿, Program Head of the Department discussed and reminded everyone of academic and departmental policies, particularly on proper conduct, attendance, academic standards, OJT requirements, and other related matters.

Among the key reminders were:

• School uniform compliance, including prescribed uniforms, Wash Day attire, Campus ID, and grooming standards
• Absence and excuse protocols, including the submission of formal excuse letters within three days following the student's return to class
• Guidelines for medical and official school representational absences
• Compliance of Grade deficiencies
• Internship and OJT requirements
• Department clearance procedures
and Attendance

After presenting the relevant policies, she emphasized the importance of student involvement in the goals and initiatives of the Business Department. She highlighted that students play an essential role as partners in achieving the Department’s objectives, contributing to the continuous development of the Campus while enhancing their skills, competencies, and sense of responsibility.
She then introduced various areas where students could actively participate, particularly in community service, leadership, and business innovative strategies. She explained the purpose and significance of establishing the Student Extension Association and the Business Club, emphasizing how these organizations could be an avenue to provide students with meaningful opportunities to develop their leadership skills, participate in extension and community-based activities, and contribute to the initiatives and development efforts of the Business Department and the Campus.

Following the discussion, she asked the students whether they were willing to support and actively participate on the establishment of these organizations. The students were encouraged to take part in the initiative as a way of broadening their involvement and strengthening their participation in the various programs, activities, and development efforts of the Campus.
She then asked the attendees whether they agreed to form a set of officers who would lead and initiate the implementation of the proposed organizations and help advance their objectives. The majority of the students expressed their support by raising their hands in agreement.
Following the students’ affirmative response, the nomination and selection of officers were conducted. The students actively participated in the process, identifying and selecting their peers to serve in the various leadership positions. This marked the initial step toward formally organizing the Business Students Extensionist Association and Business Club and strengthening student participation in the programs and initiatives of the Department. The selection was also assisted by BSBA faculty members Mr. Jade Gonzales who will also serve as Student Extensionist Adviser, Mr Angelo Pascual who will also serve as Business Club Adviser and Mr.John Lynro Canuto, Department Adviser.

An inspirational message from the 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗣. 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗮 highlighted the importance of students' active participation and contribution to the campus community, including the significance of fair-share contributions in supporting campus initiatives and development.

𝗬𝗕𝗣 𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗟𝗜𝗦𝗛𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧

𝗬𝗕𝗣 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗼𝗺 presented the organization's accomplishment report, highlighting various activities and milestones, including the organization's proclamation, induction and oath-taking ceremony, participation in the World Teachers' Day celebration, General Meeting, University Day celebration, 𝗬𝗕𝗣 𝗥𝘂𝗻 with a 𝗖𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲, and 𝗬𝗕𝗣 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

The Second Semester Accomplishment Report also highlighted the following activities:
• General Meeting and Campus Clean-Up Drive
• Heart's Day Celebration
• BSBA participation in Binturungan in El Nido
• Recognition and Award Day
• Seminar held on May 15–16, 2026

Following the accomplishment, 𝗬𝗕𝗣 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗼𝗺 also formally introduced the 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗹𝘆 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗬𝗕𝗣 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀 for the Academic Year 2026–2027, from the President down to the Representatives.

𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦' 𝗜𝗡𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗥𝗬 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗖𝗟𝗢𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗚

The assembly concluded with a 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀' 𝗜𝗻𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, giving students the opportunity to raise questions and seek clarification regarding academic, organizational, and departmental concerns.
The program formally concluded with the 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝘀 delivered by 𝗠𝗿. 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗼 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗮𝗹, 𝗕𝗦𝗕𝗔 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘆.

The 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆 served as an important avenue for communication, accountability, student engagement, leadership, and professional development. More importantly, it strengthened the connection between the Business Department, its students, faculty, and organizations while providing opportunities for students to actively participate in shaping their academic and organizational community.

Congratulations to the newly elected officers of the Student 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁 Association and to the 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀!
