Young Scouts Shine at Patrol Leaders Training Course
The spirit of leadership, teamwork, and discipline came alive as young scouts from the Claveria and Sta. Praxedes Cluster gathered for the Patrol Leaders Training Course (PLTC) held on August 21–23, 2026, at Claveria Central School.
Representing Kilkiling Elementary School, four dedicated Boy Scouts took part in the three-day training under the guidance of their Scout Master, Mr. Joel D. Caleja. Leading the group was Patrol Leader Rayniel Jilcen C. Ballion, together with patrol members Karl Josepe N. Alupay, Mark Louie R. Sostino, and Jhaden Angelo R. Toribio.
More than a training activity, the PLTC provided the young scouts with opportunities to strengthen their leadership skills, practice teamwork, and develop greater responsibility as members of the scouting movement. Through various activities and challenges, the scouts learned that effective leadership is built on cooperation, discipline, preparedness, and service.
Their hard work and dedication did not go unnoticed. The Kilkiling Elementary School scouts proudly earned Best in Notebook and Best in Patrol Presentation, demonstrating their creativity, preparedness, and strong teamwork.
The achievement is a testament to the scouts' commitment and the guidance of their Scout Master. Their success serves as an inspiration to fellow learners that with discipline, teamwork, and determination, young people can already make a meaningful difference in their school and community.
For these young scouts, the PLTC was more than a three-day training—it was a journey toward becoming confident, responsible, and service-oriented leaders of tomorrow.
