The Schools Division Office of Vigan City and various school here participated in the 2nd Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) demonstrating its commitment to disaster preparedness and emergency response readiness.
The activity was attended by DepEd personnel and representatives from partner agencies, who joined in the simulation exercises to strengthen coordination and promote a culture of safety and resilience on Thursday morning.
Participants practiced the proper โDuck, Cover, and Holdโ technique and followed established evacuation procedures during the drill.
Through the conduct of the NSED, DepEd Vigan City continues to reinforce the importance of preparedness, vigilance, and collective action in ensuring the safety and well-being of all personnel and stakeholders during emergencies.
