Youth Ascend Program

Every course and study has built a social stigma and Information Technology did not escape this stereotyping. Students from Information Technology received discrimination from other courses which our society perceived as notable and respectable professions, from their parents and peer. Youth Ascend Program would like to open the eyes and minds of baby boomers that the IT profession is also significant alongside other courses and is noteworthy of knowledge investment. Covid-19 is only an eye-opener for what is yet to come. It has affected our daily life, jobs, disrupted the global economy and has changed our world moving into the digital realm. The need for innovation and digital transformation of every business has increased and most companies shifted to full automation of their workforce. We want our youth to become prepared and elevated in the technology world.

Youth Ascend offers two types of career and knowledge enhancements:
• Youth Program, a 3-month theoretical and practical study of the whole IT environment for ages 13-17 years old.
• Internship Program, Youth Ascend open its door to senior high school for an internship, providing work from home setup and credited practicum/OJT program to students.

Youth Ascend Program is free from admission fees, open for Youth ages 13-17 years old and Senior High School Students.

For Youth Program

• Consent letter from your parents
• Willingness and interest in Information Technology

For Internship Program

• Certificate of Enrollment
• Practicum Agreement and Letter from your school
• Commitment for 4 hours (Monday-Friday)

• Get invited to work full-time after internship

Companies experience unsuccessful finding top talents that can fill the gap in their workforce due to skills shortage. The demand for talented workers outnumbered the available number of top talents in the market. Skilled baby boomers are retiring and a significant factor of this change is due to the aging population and the generations that followed baby boomers are not as large.
