OFFICIAL STATEMENT ON THE INCIDENT AT QUEENS ROW ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
The City Schools Division of Bacoor confirms that an alleged bomb threat involving Queens Row Elementary School was reported on the morning of July 20, 2026.
Upon receipt of the report, the school immediately activated its emergency response protocols and coordinated with the appropriate authorities to ensure the safety and security of all learners, teaching and non-teaching personnel, and visitors.
As a precautionary measure, an orderly evacuation was conducted while the Philippine National Police (PNP), including the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and K9 Units, carried out a thorough inspection of the school premises.
Following a comprehensive assessment, responding authorities confirmed that no explosive device or material was found and officially declared the school safe. Regular classes and operations resumed only after official clearance was issued by law enforcement.
The City Schools Division of Bacoor commends the school administration, local government unit, law enforcement agencies, and community stakeholders for their swift coordination, composure, and unwavering commitment to school safety.
The City Schools Division of Bacoor sternly reminds the public that making bomb threats or bomb jokes, regardless of intent, is a punishable criminal offense. Such acts causes unnecessary panic, disrupts educational operations, and carries severe administrative and legal consequences under existing laws.
Furthermore, the Division reiterates DepEd Order No. 006, s. 2026 (Guidelines on Ensuring a Safe and Motivating Learning Environment), which classifies bomb threats and bomb jokes as Third-Level Offenses for learners, carrying penalties of non-readmission on the first offense and exclusion on the second offense. Any teaching or non-teaching personnel, parent, or visitor committing the same shall face appropriate administrative action under Civil Service rules and/or criminal prosecution under applicable penal laws.
