Buti na lang wala kaming DLIS classes, so I got the chance to watch this masterpiece!

Face-to-Face Oathtaking of the New Librarians

The face-to-face mass oathtaking of the new Librarians will be held on October 08, 2026, at 5:00 P.M., at the Sugarland Hotel, Bacolod City.

All successful examinees interested in attending the face-to-face mass oathtaking shall register not later than 12:00 NN of the day prior to the date of the oathtaking at https://online.prc.gov.ph/ to confirm their attendance.

Inductees shall come in Business Attire and are required to PRINT the Oath Form with their own generated QR. This will be submitted during the oathtaking to be tagged as “attended”.

Those who cannot attend the scheduled face-to-face mass oathtaking may attend the online oathtaking or request a special oathtaking. Online Oathtaking announcements will be posted once the schedule is confirmed.

After the oathtaking, inductees shall proceed with their Initial Registration by securing an online appointment at https://online.prc.gov.ph.

Share ko lang...

Group 1 just concluded their first F2F class, and as part of the group 2, I have to admit I was a little envious that I haven’t had the chance to attend his class in person yet. But I’m really looking forward to finally meeting him face-to-face during our next F2F, probably next semester.

For Group 2, we’ll be meeting Dr. Yanti, and I’m excited about that as well.

By the way, I’m sharing with you a short video of my presentation earlier, representing Team VisMin, the land of rotational brownouts. 😄

One more thing: you know what? Before going directly into my presentation, I shared this famous line from a philosopher:

“Mayron din naman palang ganda ang buhay. Pwede nang mangarap.” IYKYK. 🫡

And somehow, those words captured how I’ve been feeling about this whole DLIS journey.

REVIEW SEASON IS FOR REVIEWING, NOT FOR MEETING YOUR SUBJECTS FOR THE FIRST TIME! ^_^

BOARD EXAM COURSE KA, BES.

HINDI ITO “BASTA MAKAPASA LANG.” 😭

Every time you say:

“Okay na ’yan, 75 naman.”
“Hindi naman siguro lalabas sa exam.”
“Babasahin ko na lang before finals.”
“May reviewer naman after graduation.”
“Kaya ko ’to i-cram.”

Somewhere in the future,
your BOARD EXAM is quietly whispering:

“Sige. Kita tayo.”

That topic you skipped because “boring”?

Board Exam: Hello again.

That chapter you never opened?

Board Exam: Miss me?

That lesson you slept through?

Board Exam: Question No. 87.

That concept you said,
“Hindi naman important ’yan.”

PRC: SURPRISE!!!

Remember:

Your professor can say:

“Okay, I’ll give you another activity.”

Your professor can say:

“Sige, reconsider natin.”

Your professor can even say:

“I’ll give you partial points.”

But the board exam?

Board Exam: “Final answer?”

You: “Sir, pwede pong explain ko na lang?”

Board Exam: “Next question.”

So habang may oras ka pa:

📚 Read your books.
🧠 Understand the concepts.
📝 Take your exams seriously.
❓ Ask questions.
🎯 Fix your weak subjects.
😴 And yes, sleep, but not through the entire semester.

Because review season is for REVIEWING.

Hindi siya:

“Season 1: Discovering the entire curriculum for the first time.”

And please…

Stop saying:

“Basta maka-graduate.”

Because after graduation:

BOARD EXAM: “Congratulations. Ako naman.”

Your diploma may say:

GRADUATE.

But your dream probably says:

LICENSED PROFESSIONAL.

And between those two words is something called:

PREPARATION.

So study now.

Because you do NOT want your board exam experience to become:

Question: Familiar ba sa’yo ito?

You: “Oo. Nakita ko ’to dati.”

Brain: “Good luck remembering where.”

DON’T STUDY JUST TO PASS THE SUBJECT.

Study so that when the board exam finally says:

“Kilala mo ba ako?”

you can confidently answer:

“OO. PINAGHIRAPAN KITA NANG ILANG TAON.”

LESS “BAHALA NA.”

MORE “BOARD PASSER NA ’KO NEXT.” 🪪
