As July comes to an end, Baliang National High School proudly culminates its Month-Long Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Activities reaffirming its commitment to promoting a culture of safety, preparedness, and resilience among learners, teachers, and the entire school community.

Throughout the month, various educational, collaborative, and engaging activities were successfully conducted, including:

✅ School Clean-Up Drive
✅ Earthquake Drill
✅ DRR 30-Second Advocacy Video Contest
✅ DRR Digital Poster-Making Contest
✅ DRR Quiz Bowl
✅ Water Bucket Relay
✅ Go Bag Relay
✅ Homeroom DRR Activities

During Homeroom Guidance, learners also participated in informative discussions and practical activities on:

📞 Emergency Hotlines
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family Reunification
🌍 Earthquake Preparedness
🎒 Pack a Go Bag in 30 Seconds
🌧️ Rainfall Warning Signals
🔥 Fire Safety Procedures

These activities strengthened our learners' awareness and equipped them with the essential knowledge and practical skills needed to respond effectively before, during, and after emergencies. Through teamwork, participation, and hands-on experiences, our school community continues to build resilience and foster a culture of disaster preparedness.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Sir Andrew C. Perminoff, Drew Casas Perminoff school Head, for his unwavering support, guidance, and approval that made the successful conduct of these activities possible.

Our heartfelt appreciation also goes to Sir Vince Charls Cuizon, for leading the activity, meticulous planning, and smooth implementation of the month-long DRRM activities. Your dedication and commitment ensured that every activity was organized, meaningful, and beneficial to our learners.

To our dedicated SDRRM Officers and Team, thank you for extending your time, effort, and unwavering commitment throughout the entire celebration. Baliang National High School has successfully completed Phase 1 of the installation of window grills for the Grade 10, Grade 11, and Grade 12 classrooms.
