The Cebu Technological University (CTU)-Naga Extension Campus proudly celebrates its faculty members who were recognized during the University Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE)-TAP Awards held on December 9, 2024. As part of its celebration of National Book Week and Library and Information Services Month, the Cebu Technological University (CTU) Naga Extension Campus Library hosted a timely seminar titled "Information Seeking in the Online World: Skills and Trends for Academics and Research" last November 28, 2024.

The event featured Dr. Jolo Van Clyde S. Abatayo, RL, Ph.D., Campus Librarian and Research and Development Chairperson, as the resource speaker.

This seminar highlighted the importance of developing critical information-seeking skills in today’s digital age. Participants were guided through emerging trends in online research, practical strategies for evaluating credible sources, and tools to enhance their academic and research endeavors.

Cebu Technological University (CTU) has once again clinched a notable ranking in the latest Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Asia University rankings 2025, released November 6, 2024. CTU consistently solidifies its position as one of the top Philippine universities, ranking within the 851-900 bracket. Despite a modest drop from last year's ranking, CTU's ongoing presence among the premier institutions of higher learning in the country signifies its drive for academic excellence.
