LAC in Action: Protecting Learners, Strengthening Schools! 🛡️📚

On July 24, 2026, the dedicated faculty of Perrelos National High School came together for a meaningful Learning Action Cell (LAC) Session focused on the timely topic:

“Ensuring a Safe and Motivating Learning Environment: Implementing the Child Protection Policy and Handling Non-Bullying-Related Incidents under DepEd Order No. 006, s. 2026.”

The session was skillfully facilitated by the school’s Guidance Designate, Mrs. Cicella G. Genon, whose expertise, insights, and guidance enriched the faculty’s understanding of child protection policies and strengthened their capacity to appropriately address non-bullying-related incidents in the school setting.

This professional learning activity reaffirmed Perrelos NHS’s unwavering commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment where every learner is protected, respected, and empowered to reach their full potential.

Through continuous collaboration, shared responsibility, and meaningful capacity-building, Perrelos National High School continues to champion quality education and promote the holistic well-being of every student.

Perrelos NHS Showcases Young Journalists’ Excellence at School-Based Press Conference 2026! 📰✍️

On July 22–23, 2026, Perrelos National High School successfully conducted its School-Based Press Conference (SBPC) 2026, celebrating the creativity, passion, and journalistic talents of its aspiring campus journalists.

Student writers and broadcasters demonstrated their skills across various individual and group categories, including News Writing, Editorial Writing, Feature Writing, Sports Writing, Science and Technology Writing, Column Writing, Copyreading and Headline Writing, Editorial Cartooning, Photojournalism, and Script Writing and Radio Broadcasting.

Beyond competition, the event served as a meaningful avenue for learners to enhance their communication skills, critical thinking abilities, and commitment to responsible journalism while preparing them for higher-level press conferences.

The much-awaited Awarding Ceremony will take place on July 29, 2026, where outstanding campus journalists will be recognized for their remarkable achievements and officially announced as the school’s representatives to the Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) 2026.

Perrelos NHS Conducts its 1st Parent–Teacher General Assembly

On June 27, 2026, Perrelos National High School successfully conducted its 1st Parent- Teacher General Assembly , bringing together parents, teachers, school officials, and community leaders in a shared commitment to quality education and student success.

The event was graced by our very own City Mayor Hon. Patricio Barcenas, Public Schools District Supervisor Dr. Kathryn Estenzo, Barangay Captain Hon. Schubert Veloso, the dedicated teachers and staff headed by our school principal, Mrs. Myrah Lou Redoblado, and the newly elected PTA Officers, whose presence and support highlighted the importance of leadership and strong collaboration among the school, families, and the community.

The assembly provided an avenue to discuss school programs and initiatives while strengthening the partnership between parents and educators in ensuring the holistic development of every learner.
