The College of Education (COED) of Cebu Technological UniversityโMoalboal Campus marked an extraordinary day of honor, gratitude, and inspiration as students, faculty, and administrators gathered at the CTU Covered Court for a celebration highlighting leadership, academic excellence, and professional milestones.
Turnover and Oath-Taking
The program opened with the formal Turnover Ceremony and Oath-Taking of the newly elected Co-Edukados Society Officers, led by Dr. Catherine P. Tapales, Director of the Student Affairs Services Office. Outgoing officers were commended for their dedication and service, leaving a legacy of leadership that continues to inspire the College of Education community. The new officers pledged to uphold the values of excellence, collaboration, and resilience as they embark on their leadership journey.
Academic Recognition
Following the leadership transition, the College proudly recognized its Deanโs Listers, honoring students who demonstrated perseverance and academic distinction. The ceremony also celebrated LET Passers and Topnotchers, whose achievements serve as a beacon of inspiration for aspiring educators. These milestones reaffirm the Collegeโs commitment to producing competent and compassionate professionals in the field of education.
Partnerships for Success
The event highlighted the invaluable support of the Carl E. Balita Review Center (CBRC) and the Falculan Twins Review Center (FTRC), whose partnership has been instrumental in guiding students toward licensure success. Their contributions continue to strengthen the Collegeโs mission of preparing future educators for national and global impact.
Leadership and Guidance
Special recognition was extended to Dr. Charmaine P. Antecristo, Campus Director of CTUโMoalboal, for her unwavering leadership and guidance to faculty and staff. Gratitude was also expressed to Dr. Severina P. Velos, Dean of the College of Education, alongside Prof. Miriam Amparo Sambrana and Retired Prof. Nilde T. Chabit, whose vision and dedication continue to shape the Collegeโs pursuit of excellence.
