Snaps from April 1st! πŸ“Έ

The sowing of seeds was initiated in our nursery. In order to increase the probability of successful propagation, seedlings have to be kept in the right environment.

Ready to see them full grown? Stay tuned to see them bear tomatoes, eggplants and hot pepper soon. Til harvest time! πŸ˜‰

Our stakeholders on the go for our Brigada Clean Up!

The scorching summer heat is a battle that our growing greens need to face these dry months. The garden soil and leaves could easily dry out, and may turn everything lifeless. Good thing our dear parents are here to the rescue! Last 16th of March, an area clearing and land preparation was initiated by our parents and teachers through the Parents - Teachers Association in collaboration with the 4Ps recepients. With all the helping hands, we could help maintain the health of our SUGBUsog garden.

Daghang salamat sa tanan nga mitabang ug nakigtimbayayong!

Hello there fellas! New harvests are here from the Sugbusog garden of Ronda NHS. Among the ones recently picked from their stems were the bright-colored tomatoes. They surely add a vibrant hue to our garden, but they are in due time for harvest.

What do tomatoes offer? Certainly, they are equally beneficial as the rest of the crops that abound our Sugbusog grounds. To sum up the wonders they bring, check out the bite-sized information on our post below. Hope this helps! πŸ˜‰πŸ˜Ž

What a great way to kick start the month of July!
After last week's first set of visitors for the Municipal Level Evaluation of our SUGBUsog garden, we have welcomed into our premises another set of guests. Heading onto the Legislative Level Evaluation, Ronda NHS has been graced by the presence of delegates from the different sectors of Cebu Province.

It has been an insightful day for all of us, constantly learning on how to take care of our SUGBUsog grounds and the school environment in general. Whatever comes next in these series of assessments is not the question. Instead, what more can our own SUGBUsog garden offer to its recipients. Hoping for more harvest to come!

Once again, from Ronda National High School, DAGHANG SALAMAT sa pagbisita ug pagsuporta.

Want to know what else our Sugbusog garden has? Not just to feed your visual appetite, but our school's growing greens are also definitely geared up for ailments that might need organically produced treatment. Why spend much on chemically produced medication when you can certainly count on your own garden for basic treatment?

If you know some plants used as alternative medicine, feel free to share them in the comments section.

Now let's take a peek at some of our medicinal plants in the RNHS Ronda NHS Sugbusog sa Eskuylahan grounds. πŸ˜‰

After the time and effort devoted by the entire school community, nature has given back its precious gifts. The SUGBUsog garden now teems with a myriad of plants and crops. Some are healthily peeking from their leaves while some are enjoying a great climb on their stalks.

Some of these that the RNHS would like to proudly share are the Five Main Crops that abound our luscious grounds.

Looking for an excellent antioxidant? We've got our SWEET PEPPER (Sili atsal) ready for you. Well, if you're more on prioritizing your heart's health, why don't you devour more on EGGPLANTS (Talong) and TOMATOES (Kamatis). Want something for digestion and gut health? Our HYBRID CUCUMBER and BOTTLE GOURD (Upo) have got you covered.

Check out these photos of our FIVE MAIN CROPS.

Nature, with all its gifts and splendor, has always been one of humanity's cradle of hope and survival. It takes care of men and women through its provision, and offers all it has for curative intentions.

To maximize nature's gifts and enact what men should do as stewards of the Earth, it is about time to respond proactively in our very own school community. As core supporters of nature stewardship and food sustainability, Ronda National High School puts their feet forward to promote the value of sufficient food production and sustenance. With the help of our dear teachers, students, staff and stakeholders, the SUGBUsog sa Eskuylahan Program has reached its fruition.

Immerse yourself in this wonderful experience and appreciate the well-collaborated efforts of everyone. RNHS welcomes you all to our very own SUGBUsog sa Eskuylahan Garden!
