𝘿𝙚𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝙊𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 & 𝙀𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 | August 18

CTU TUBURAN – The College of Agriculture formally conducted an orientation program for 𝘉𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘚𝘤𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘈𝘨𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴, aimed at acquainting learners with academic standards, institutional services, and student governance.

Headed by 𝘋𝘳. 𝘔𝘦𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘦 𝘓. 𝘛𝘦𝘤𝘴𝘰𝘯, college dean, delivered the welcome address to officially open the gathering. Substantive sessions followed, covering the BS Agriculture program overview, Student Affairs, GAD services, and Library services. Faculty and staff were formally introduced, and the college’s objectives, class advisories, retention policies, grading system, and thesis guidelines were thoroughly discussed.

A significant segment of the program was dedicated to the election of the new set of CASA officers headed by 𝘑𝘰𝘤𝘦𝘭 𝘈𝘭𝘣𝘶𝘳𝘰, incumbent CASA Governor. 𝘊𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘰𝘱𝘦 𝘑𝘰𝘳𝘦, the newly elected Governor, will lead the organization for the coming academic year, succeeding the outgoing administration and carrying forward the college’s commitment to student leadership and service.

𝙍𝙚-𝘿𝙄𝙎𝘾𝙊-𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝘽𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙨

CTU–Tuburan officially opened its doors for Academic Year 2026–2027 on August 13, launching the much-anticipated Week of Welcome with the theme "𝘙𝘦-𝘋𝘐𝘚𝘊𝘖-𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺: 𝘈𝘸𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘳𝘰𝘰𝘷𝘦, 𝘖𝘸𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘕𝘦𝘸 𝘈𝘤𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘤 𝘠𝘦𝘢𝘳, 𝘉𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯."

The day began with a flag ceremony followed by opening remarks from 𝘋𝘳. 𝘙𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘯𝘢 𝘗. 𝘈𝘣𝘢𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘵𝘢, Dean of Instruction. SSG President 𝘔𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘸 𝘌𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘯 𝘗. 𝘈𝘤𝘢𝘴𝘰 then presented the guidelines for the Week of Welcome and Acquaintance Party. University officials took the stage to share the institution’s Vision, Mission, and Goals, followed by the introduction of key administrative staff and department faculty.

𝘋𝘳. 𝘔𝘦𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘦 𝘓. 𝘛𝘦𝘤𝘴𝘰𝘯, Dean of the College of Agriculture, formally introduced the COA faculty. After the formal program, the campus came alive with 𝘎𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨-𝘛𝘰-𝘒𝘯𝘰𝘸-𝘠𝘰𝘶 (𝘎𝘛𝘒𝘠) 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴 held at the Covered Court. Students took part in a variety of interactive games designed to foster friendship and camaraderie. Highlights included the 𝘉𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘰 𝘎𝘳𝘰𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘏𝘶𝘯𝘵, where participants connected with peers to complete tasks and earn signatures; "𝘋𝘪𝘴𝘤𝘰 𝘚𝘩𝘪𝘱 𝘐𝘴 𝘚𝘪𝘯𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨," a high-energy warm-up game; 𝘎𝘶𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘉𝘦𝘢𝘵, where teams raced to identify classic retro hits; 𝘙𝘦-𝘋𝘐𝘚𝘊𝘖-𝘙𝘪𝘧𝘧, a department-wide singing challenge; and 𝘋𝘪𝘴𝘤𝘰 𝘓𝘺𝘳𝘪𝘤 𝘋𝘳𝘰𝘱, a lyric-guessing game open exclusively to freshmen.

We saw you guide our college as Dean, and now we admire you even more as you steer the Animal Science Department. May your special day be filled with joy, good health, and countless blessings! 𝙂𝙤, 𝙂𝙧𝙤𝙬, 𝙖𝙩 𝙂𝙡𝙤𝙬, 𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙖𝙣 𝙢𝙤 𝙥𝙖 𝙗𝙖?

Tanda mo pa ba? Noong elementarya, pilit tayong pinagkabisado ng 𝘎𝘰, 𝘎𝘳𝘰𝘸, 𝘎𝘭𝘰𝘸 𝘍𝘰𝘰𝘥𝘴: mga pagkaing pampalakas, pampatangkad, pampalinaw ng mata. Walang-wala ang lahat ng iyon, kahit anong kabisado kung walang tumulo na pawis ng isang magsasaka.

Alas-kwatro pa lang ng madaling araw, gising na habang mahimbing pa tayong natutulog. Sa ilalim ng nakapapasong init, o sa gitna ng hagupit ng bagyo—𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙤𝙤𝙣 𝙨𝙞𝙡𝙖. Yung katagang 𝘚𝘩𝘰𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘶𝘱 𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘴 natin ay hindi aplikado sa kanila kasi walang choice kundi magtrabaho. Nakayuko, umaasa, nag-aalay ng lakas at buhay para lang may maihain sa hapag natin.

Nagpapakain sa buong bayan… 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘰 𝘴𝘪𝘭𝘢 𝘱𝘢 𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘴 𝘯𝘢 𝘯𝘢𝘨𝘶𝘨𝘶𝘵𝘰𝘮. Sila ang haligi natin… 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘰 𝘴𝘪𝘭𝘢 𝘱𝘢 𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘬𝘢𝘣𝘢𝘣𝘢𝘣𝘢 𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘨𝘢 𝘴𝘢 𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘢 𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘮𝘪. Mababa ang bayad, mahal ang kailangan, at minsan kahit ang panahon ay kalaban.

Kaya sa bawat subo, huwag mong kalimutan: 𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙞 𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙖𝙜𝙠𝙖𝙞𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙣𝙖𝙨𝙖 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙤 𝙢𝙤. Dugo, pawis, at buhay ng isang magsasaka ang kasama niyan. Sila ang tunay na bayani—na madalas nating makalimutan, pero kung wala sila… wala tayong kahit anong kakainin

The 𝘊𝘖𝘚𝘊𝘏𝘖 Scholarship Information Caravan is happening today at the 𝘛𝘶𝘣𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘯 𝘊𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘊𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘵, running from 8:00 AM onwards to bring clear, official guidance directly to the students this program was made for.

Open to current COSCHO scholars and all students who 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘰𝘳 𝘥𝘢𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘳𝘦𝘨𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘤𝘰𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘶𝘵 𝘧𝘢𝘳𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘴, the activity covers every important details such as the full eligibility rules, required documents, step-by-step application and renewal procedures, complete breakdown of financial benefits including tuition coverage and monthly stipends, plus answers to common questions and the latest program updates.
