HEADS UP, TECHNOLOGISTS!

The time has arrived for you to release your inner leadership skills and become a part of the change you want to see! The election for a new set of Supreme Student Government is approaching, heralding a new age of leadership for students at Cebu Technological University - Malabuyoc Extension.

To become a part of the election, you must first file for candidacy. The certificate of candidacy (COC) form will be available on Thursday, May 18, 2023.

On the day of filing for candidacy, you must prepare a soft copy for the following requirements:

1. ID (back and front view)
2. Certificate of Registration
3. Grade Slip (AY 2021-2022, 1st Semester)
4. Certificate of Candidacy (COC)
5. Formal Picture (2x2 size)

Today is supposedly the last day for filing candidacy for the SSC election. Since we only received four responses up to today, it will be extended until tomorrow July 7, 2022. We, the CTU Malabuyoc Comelec will wait for your response.

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE SUPREME STUDENT GOVERNMENT OFFICERS
The President
a. Must be a bonafide student of CTU Moalboal Campus.
b. Must be at least sixteen years of age on the day of election.
c. Must have acquired one-semester residency in this university.
d. Must have a minimum of 10 units loads in the college.
e. Must be physically and or mentally fit as certified by the school nurse or any licensed physician.
f. Must have no failing grades or incomplete grades.
g. Must have good moral character and no records of convictions for any capital offense of must not have been subjected to disciplinary actions as certified by the university guidance counselor.
h. Must not hold any local position in any students organizations.
The Vice President
a. Must be a bona fide student of CTU Moalboal Campus.
b. Must be at least sixteen years of age on the day of election.
c. Must have acquired one semester residency in this university.
d. Must have a minimum of 10 unit loads in the college.
e. Must be physically and or mentally fit as certified by the school nurse or any licensed physician.

The Senators
a. Must be a bona fide student of CTU Moalboal Campus.
b. Must have no failing grades or incomplete grades.
c. Must have good moral character and no records of convictions for any capital offense of must not have been subjected to disciplinary actions as certified by the university guidance counselor.
d. Preferably has the knowledge on how to formulate laws, ordinances, and or resolution-making.
e. Must be physically and or mentally fit as certified by the school nurse or any licensed physician.
Representatives by department
a. Must be a bona fide student of CTU Moalboal Campus.
b. Must have acquired one-semester residency in the department he is running.
c. Must have no failing grades or incomplete grades.
d. Must have good moral character and no records of convictions for any capital offense of must not have been subjected to disciplinary actions as certified by the university guidance counselor.
e. Must be physically and or mentally fit as certified by the school nurse or any licensed physician

ANNOUNCEMENT: Filing of candidacy for the election of the Supreme Student Council is now open until July 6, 2022. The candidacy form will be given through email.

This week is supposed to be the online election for SSC. Unfortunately, only few students showed interest in becoming the next student leaders of our school. With that being said, since there's no other parties involved, we, the CTU Malabuyoc Comelec are very proud to announce the unanimous winners of this year's election.
