Our learners enthusiastically created and displayed handmade flaglets outside their classrooms as a symbol of patriotism, unity, and love for our country. Through this simple yet meaningful activity, we honor the bravery and sacrifices of our heroes who fought for the freedom we enjoy today.

Doors are open and a fun-filled learning experience awaits the learners of Talisay Elementary School as we welcome the school year with warmth and gratitude.

The morning started with the singing of the Philippine National Anthem and Prayer, followed by an Opening Program where all learners, parents, guardians, faculty and staff were gladly welcomed by the School Head, Mrs. Misphat Xylph M. Laurente. The esteemed teaching and non-teaching personnel of the institution were also introduced. And to express their warm welcome, the faculty and staff offered a short dance number.

As we open this new chapter, Talisay ES is committed to cultivate an environment of collaboration, innovation, and kindness.

Together, let us make this school year a journey of discovery, growth and shared success.

As Brigada Eskwela 2026 comes to a close, we celebrate the spirit of bayanihan that brought our school community together. Our heartfelt gratitude goes to all stakeholders, parents, volunteers, partners, and teachers who generously shared their time, effort, and resources in preparing our school for another meaningful school year.

Before the opening of classes, we kindly remind everyone that 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀.

We understand that you only want to check on your child, especially during the first days of school. However, when children see their parents outside the room or through the window, they may become more emotional, clingy, or distracted.

𝗠𝗮𝘀 𝗹𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗮𝗵𝗶𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝗴-𝗮𝗱𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗸𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗴 𝗻𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗸𝗶𝘁𝗮 𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗮 𝘀𝗶 𝗠𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘆, 𝗗𝗮𝗱𝗱𝘆, 𝗟𝗼𝗹𝗮, 𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗼𝗹𝗼 𝘀𝗮 𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘀.

Crying during the first few days is normal. 𝗜𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗱𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀. Please do not worry too much. In most cases, children eventually calm down once they feel safe, comfortable, and familiar with their teacher and classmates.

After bringing your child to school, we encourage you to go home or attend to your errands. Rest assured that while your child is inside the classroom, we will do our best to guide, care for, and treat them with love.
