We are especially proud of our two Senior Girl Scouts and one Cadet Girl Scout who represented the Girl Scouts with confidence and pride. You have truly made our sisterhood shine! ✨

Celebrating World Thinking Day at Cebu City Don Carlos A. Gothong Memorial National High School! 🏫 Ever since 1926, Girl Scouts have used this day-the birthday of our founders, Lord and Lady Baden Powell to celebrate international friendship and advocate for girls everywhere. 🙌🏻

Today isn’t just a date on the calendar, it’s a legacy started 100 years ago to unite girls from every corner of the map. Whether we are in Cebu or across the ocean, we are all connected by the same promise and law. 🌏❤️

The Gothongians are feeling lovely and excited because of the tour day adventure! 🌅✨ On our 3rd day of camp at Camp Marina, we started early with Scouts-on, lighting candles and seeing all the sub-camps shine beautifully. After that, we finally set out for our tour day! We explored the majestic Taoist Temple with its dragon statues and stunning temples and castles-perfect for capturing lovely photos with our fellow Girl Scouts and titas. 🐉📸

Next stop: Cebu Museum, Plaza, and SM Seaside! At SM Seaside, we enjoyed some yummy treats-milk tea, ice cream, and Jollibee! 🍦🥤🍔

Back at camp, we joined the closing ceremony and proudly received the “Best in Kitchen” award. 🏆 Even though it’s just one award this year, it’s still special, and there’s always next year for more! Afterward, we tidied up our campsite, packed up our tents, lowered the camp gate, and headed home sweet home, hearts full of memories. Gothongians are the best, and because of that, we continue to shine. ✨🥰

Day 2 at Camp Marina was filled with energy, learning, and fun for the Cebu City Don Carlos A. Gothong Memorial National High School Girl Scouts. The day began with a lively morning fitness session and a hearty meal to fuel everyone’s adventures. The girls participated in an HIV awareness lecture and safety-conscious testing, while also making creative mini basket handcrafts. In the afternoon, they challenged themselves with adventure games like rock climbing and more, testing teamwork, courage, and perseverance. The day ended with a memorable campfire presentation featuring drama, festival dances, queen showdowns, and songs, leaving everyone with laughter, friendship, and unforgettable Girl Scout memories.

The Cebu City Don Carlos A. Gothong Memorial National High School Girl Scout participants began their Council Camp journey at Camp Marina Yulo Vargas, Cebu City with a day filled with preparation, teamwork, and sisterhood. From bus ride memories to setting up tents and camp gates, attending the opening ceremony and HAM radio session, and sharing a memorable fellowship with Girl Scouts from different schools, Day 1 was filled with learning, laughter, and new friendships. Though it was only the beginning, it already created meaningful memories that will last beyond the camp.
