Cebu Normal University - Main Campus proudly recognizes the delegates coming from different organizations within the institution, united to represent the university at the PHILCAUSE National Youth Summer Camp 2026, formally known as the YAKAP ng Kabataang Pinoy - Experiential Service Learning Program on SDGs (YAKAP-ESLP on SDGs 2026), previously held last March 25-27, 2026, at Pine Breeze Cottages and Gestdan Centrum, Baguio City, Philippines. The event was organized by the Philippine Community of Advocates United for Students Empowerment, Inc., (PHILCAUSE Inc.,), anchored on the theme "ADVOKAYA: Ikaw at Ako, sa Adbokasiang may Puso, Kaya natin 'to!".

The four-day camp served as an experiential learning program where student leaders from various universities nationwide participated in activities and competitions focusing on leadership training forums, team building exercises, SDG advocacies workshops, and community immersion projects.

Cebu Normal University was represented by the following: 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗚𝗹𝘆𝘀𝘀𝗮 𝗚𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗷𝗼 from the 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 - 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 and 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗿 𝗭𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗮 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽𝗵 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗻 from the 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗙𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, both of whom are scholars from 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝘆. We also have 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿 (𝗔𝗹𝗽𝗵𝗮 - 𝗖𝗧𝗘) 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗸𝗮 𝗗𝗲𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗨𝗯𝗮𝘀 and 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿 (𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 - 𝗖𝗧𝗘) 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗹 𝗩𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗱𝗮 from the 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 - 𝗖𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗰 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 (𝗖𝗪𝗧𝗦), both of whom are officers from the 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀' 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 - 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀. Along with them is 𝗠𝗿. 𝗘𝗱𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗮𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗻 from the 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝗳𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 (𝗦𝗔𝗗𝗢). Together, the delegates participated in sessions and activities throughout the program, fostering and strengthening their leadership skills and values in serving advocacies.

Cebu Normal University extends its warmest congratulations to its outstanding delegates for their remarkable achievements at the PHILCAUSE National Youth Summer Camp 2026. These achievements reflect the values CNU strongly holds and commits to, showcasing the institution's dedication to leadership, service, and excellence. The delegates' outstanding performances earned them recognition on a national stage, demonstrating their exceptional skills and teamwork beyond the institution, displaying excellence and bringing pride to the university.

The delegates would also like to acknowledge and extend their most heartfelt gratitude to the unwavering support of the Student Affairs and Development Office (SADO), most especially to Director Dr. Jollibee A. Aharul, whose crucial help and dedication made this trip possible. Their guidance and commitment have not only ensured the success of this endeavor but have also inspired the delegates to strive for excellence and meaningful service beyond this experience.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | 𝗡𝗦𝗧𝗣–𝗖𝗪𝗧𝗦 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻-𝗨𝗽 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀

Students under the 𝘕𝘚𝘛𝘗 – 𝘊𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘤 𝘞𝘦𝘭𝘧𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘚𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘤𝘦 (𝘊𝘞𝘛𝘚) of Cebu Normal University participated in a series of environmental initiatives that promote voluntarism, environmental awareness, and community engagement.

On February 28, 2026, students conducted a 𝘊𝘰𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘭 𝘊𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘯-𝘜𝘱 𝘋𝘳𝘪𝘷𝘦 at Punta Engaño, Lapu-Lapu City, in coordination with the Philippine Coast Guard – Central Visayas, supporting efforts to protect coastal ecosystems and maintain marine cleanliness.

Meanwhile, Beautification and Greening Programs were held at Sambag II, Cebu City on March 7, 2026 and March 14, 2026. Through these activities, students collaborated with the community to enhance public spaces while promoting sustainability and environmental stewardship.

These initiatives highlight the commitment of CNU NSTP-CWTS students to civic responsibility, environmental protection, and meaningful service to the community.

🟢 DONATION DRIVE FOR EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS📢

In light of the recent earthquake that struck in the northern part of Cebu specifically Bogo, Medellin, Tabogon and San Remegio City, many families are in urgent need of help. As we are part of National Service Reserve Corps (NSRC) we are trained to assist in disaster response.

In line with this, the NSTP CWTS & ROTC Unit is launching a Donation Drive to gather essentials for the affected communities.
