The Carolinian Political Science Society Electoral Commission (CPSS-ELECCOMM) hereby officially announces that the extended voting period for the 2026 CPSS Special Elections has now closed as of 10:00 PM this evening, and the official canvassing of votes will commence in a short while.

All ballots for the 4th Year Batch Representative seat have been securely received. The Commission is now proceeding with the official count and canvass of all votes cast by the eligible members of our incoming graduating class. This process will be conducted with the utmost transparency, integrity, and impartiality, strictly in accordance with the CPSS Electoral Code.

The Commission reminds the candidate, political groups, and the general constituency to await the official tabulation with patience and composure. Any formal concerns or queries regarding the canvassing process may be directed to the CPSS Electoral Commission through our official channels.

This measure is enacted to afford all remaining eligible 4th-year members the opportunity to cast their ballots and actively participate in establishing a definitive mandate for the incoming graduating class leadership.

The Commission strongly urges all qualified voters who have yet to accomplish their ballots to utilize this extended period.
