Today, May 16, 2026, we 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬 from SSLG, YES-O, and BKB+ through an online Appointment Ceremony via Google Meet.

Today, we honor the women who sacrifice in silence for their children. As they say, a mother will walk through the hardest roads just to make life easier for her children. Their silent struggles never go unnoticed. They carry the family with endless sacrifices.

To every mom in the world, you may not always receive praise and appreciation, but from the bottom of our heart, 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐮𝐬.

To the 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥-𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐬 who stays at home to take care of their families.

Members from the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) of Pardo National High School took center stage at the prestigious 𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐍 𝐏𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞’𝐬 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭 2026, held on May 8, 2026, at the Mövenpick Hotel.

The event brought together young leaders, advocates, and stakeholders from across the ASEAN region to discuss pressing social issues, promote cultural exchange, and foster cooperation toward a more inclusive and sustainable community. Representing their school and the youth sector, the Pardo NHS SSLG officers actively participated in plenary sessions, workshops, and collaborative forums. Their participation not only showcased their dedication to public service but also highlighted the vital role of Filipino students in regional development.

The experience served as a platform for the students to broaden their perspectives, build networks, and bring back valuable insights to implement within their school and community.

The ASEAN People’s Week Summit 2026 concluded with a renewed commitment from all participants to work together in building a better future for the people of the region. Pardo National High School remains proud of its SSLG for bringing honor and representing the youth with excellence.

— Supreme Secondary Learner Government or more known as 𝙎𝙎𝙇𝙂, is the highest school governing body in the Philippines among the student leaders. This organization ranges from Grade 7 up to Grade 12 students under the Department of Education (DepEd). The main project/job of the SSLG is to promote student rights, welfare, democratic leadership. Serving as the venue of opinions and suggestions from students by participating in decision-making.

They organized academic, leadership, and community engagement initiatives such as mental health programs, environmental projects, and student representation in school policy. The SSLG was formerly recognized as “Supreme Student Government” or SSG.

SSLG operates under the guidance of school administrators and advisers, acting as a “laboratory for democracy” within the school system.

🌻 𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙠𝙖𝙙𝙖 𝙆𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙖 𝘽𝙞𝙨𝙮𝙤 (𝘽𝙆𝘽+)

— A school-based, peer-driven organization initiated by the Department of Education (DepEd) and Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) to prevent the usage of drugs and to promote a healthy, vice-free lifestyle within the campus.

This organization’s purpose is to empower students in resisting the use of illegal drugs, smokes, vapes, and excessive alcoholic drinks through positive peer influence.

They organize the campaigns, arts and crafts, community service, and awareness seminars to keep students engaged and educated.

🌻 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝙀𝙣𝙫𝙞𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡𝙨 𝙊𝙧𝙜𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙯𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 (𝙔𝙀𝙎-𝙊)

— A co-curricular club in the Philippines mandated by the Department of Education (DepEd). This organization serves as a venue for students to lead and motivate in protecting and conserving the rehabilitation of the environment.

This organization's goal is to create an environmental awareness by promoting sustainable practices and addressing the ecological issues within schools and communities.

They initiate the plan of tree planting, waste segregation, recycling, composting, and environmental awareness campaigns.

Aware’d naba si Girly? Syempre! But hey, there's also a similarities between the three organizations!

These organizations are composed of elected student officers such as President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Auditor, Public Information Officers, Protocol Officers, and Grade Level Representatives (applicable only with SSLG). They play an important and influential role in student affairs! By allowing the students in active participation and right conduct.
