Last July 12, 2026, the ๐”๐‚ ๐‚๐„ ๐‚๐€๐‘๐„๐’ ๐Ž๐ซ๐ ๐š๐ง๐ข๐ณ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง, in partnership with the ๐„๐‘๐๐€๐“๐’ ๐€๐ฌ๐ฌ๐จ๐œ๐ข๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐๐š๐ซ๐š๐ง๐ ๐š๐ฒ ๐‡๐ข๐ฉ๐จ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ๐จ, successfully conducted The ๐Ÿ๐ข๐ซ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ฌ๐ž๐œ๐จ๐ง๐ ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ฆ๐›๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ฌ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง at Barangay Hipodromo, Cebu City. The activity gave participants the opportunity to learn basic plumbing knowledge and practical skills that can be applied in everyday situations and future livelihood opportunities.

The activity was formally opened by ๐„๐ง๐ ๐ซ. ๐‹๐š๐ซ๐ซ๐ฒ ๐™๐š๐Ÿ๐ข๐œ๐จ - ๐‘ช๐‘ฌ ๐‘ช๐’‰๐’‚๐’Š๐’“๐’Ž๐’‚๐’, who welcomed the participants and expressed his support for initiatives that strengthen technical skills through community engagement.

During ๐’๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง 1: ๐‘ฌ๐’”๐’•๐’Š๐’Ž๐’‚๐’•๐’Š๐’๐’ˆ ๐‘ด๐’‚๐’•๐’†๐’“๐’Š๐’‚๐’๐’”, ๐„๐ง๐ ๐ซ. ๐•๐จ๐ง ๐Œ๐ฒ๐ค๐ž๐ฅ ๐๐š๐ซ๐š๐ ๐ฎ๐š๐ฌ and ๐„๐ง๐ ๐ซ. ๐๐ฎ๐ž๐ง๐ง๐ข๐ž ๐„๐ฌ๐ญ๐š๐ง๐ข๐ฌ๐ฅ๐š๐จ discussed how to read plumbing blueprints and estimate the correct quantity and cost of materials needed for plumbing projects.

For ๐’๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง 2: ๐‘ฐ๐’๐’”๐’•๐’‚๐’๐’๐’‚๐’•๐’Š๐’๐’, ๐„๐ง๐ ๐ซ. ๐๐š๐ญ๐ซ๐ข๐œ๐ค ๐„๐ฌ๐ญ๐ž๐ฅ๐ฅ๐š and ๐„๐ง๐ ๐ซ. ๐Š๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐ƒ๐จ๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐ข๐œ ๐€๐ซ๐ฆ๐š๐ญ๐ž๐จ taught the proper installation of hot and cold water lines, plumbing fixtures, and drainage systems. The session gave participants practical knowledge that they can apply in real situations.

The program concluded with closing remarks from ๐„๐ง๐ ๐ซ. ๐‰๐จ๐œ๐ž๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ง ๐๐ข๐ญ๐จ-๐จ๐ง - ๐‘ผ๐‘ช ๐‘ช๐‘ถ๐‘ฌ ๐‘ช๐‘จ๐‘น๐‘ฌ๐‘บ ๐‘ช๐’๐’๐’“๐’…๐’Š๐’๐’‚๐’•๐’๐’“, who encouraged the participants to apply the knowledge and skills they gained and continue supporting initiatives that create a positive impact in the community.

Last June 27, 2026, the ๐”๐‚ ๐‚๐„ ๐‚๐€๐‘๐„๐’ ๐Ž๐ซ๐ ๐š๐ง๐ข๐ณ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง, together with the ๐๐ˆ๐‚๐„ ๐Ž๐ฎ๐ญ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐œ๐ก, successfully held the 1st implementation of the mural painting project at ๐๐š๐ซ๐š๐ง๐ ๐š๐ฒ ๐‡๐ข๐ฉ๐จ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ๐จ. The activity brought together dedicated civil engineering faculty members and volunteers, marking a significant milestone in bringing color, life, and collaboration to the community.

The successful rollout was made possible through the leadership and hands-on participation of our structural and field heads. Earlier today, the ๐”๐‚ ๐‚๐„ ๐‚๐€๐‘๐„๐’ ๐Ž๐ซ๐ ๐š๐ง๐ข๐ณ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง conducted a Community Extension Orientation on Plumbing and Mural Painting at ๐๐š๐ซ๐š๐ง๐ ๐š๐ฒ ๐‡๐ข๐ฉ๐จ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ๐จ. The activity brought together civil engineering faculty members and student volunteers, along with the mothers and fathers from the barangay, creating a space for learning and cooperation.

The session was led by our speaker, ๐„๐ง๐ ๐ซ. ๐•๐จ๐ง ๐Œ๐ฒ๐ค๐ž๐ฅ ๐๐š๐ซ๐š๐ ๐ฎ๐š๐ฌ, who shared practical knowledge about basic plumbing and proper maintenance at home. The goal was to help the community better understand simple plumbing systems and how to take care of them.
