The College of Agriculture successfully concluded its 2 Community Extension project, PRUTAS: Promoting Resilient Utilization Through Agri-Organic Solutions and Sustainable Soil Health Management & Resilience Project, in Barangay Adlaon, Sinsin, Sudlon I, Cebu City, on December 5, 2025

The extension training empowered farmers and community members with practical knowledge on agri-organic technologies, sustainable soil health management, and climate-resilient farming practices, thereby strengthening their livelihoods while protecting the environment.

Congratulations on passing the Agriculture Licensure Exam 2025!

Agriculture Students from Cebu Technological University–Cebu City Mountain Satellite Campus (CTU–CCMSC), Jay Anne Bellita and Dexter Bellita , successfully participated in the Training-Writeshop on Business Model Canvas (BMC) Preparation held at Alpha Suites Hotel, Hernan Cortes corner F. Cabahug Street, Mandaue City, Cebu.

The three-day training provided participants with essential knowledge and practical skills to develop innovative, sustainable business models for agriculture-based enterprises. This writeshop served as a capacity-building initiative to prepare young agripreneurs for the Young Farmers Challenge, a competition that promotes youth involvement in agribusiness, food security, and rural development.

September 6, 2025 — Cebu Technological University–Cebu City Mountain Satellite Campus welcomed Dr. Amado Angeles, Dean of the College of Agriculture and Food Science (CAFS), University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB), together with his team, as part of the UPLB–CHED ExceALErate 2025 Project.

ExceALErate 2025 is a project-based review strategy program designed to empower Agriculture students in preparation for the upcoming Licensure Examination for Agriculturists (LEA) in November 2025. The initiative offers intensive academic support through expert-led lectures and review sessions, aiming to enhance students’ readiness and improve their performance on licensure examinations.

The visit emphasized the collaborative effort between UPLB, CHED, and CTU in advancing agricultural education. Agriculture faculty and reviewees warmly welcomed the UPLB team, marking the event as a significant step in preparing future agriculturists to contribute to agricultural development.
