Please be informed of the following updates from Maktan Lodge No. 30:

🔹 The Regular Stated Meeting for the month of April has been dispensed to April 11, 2026 (Saturday), 3:00pm instead of the usual schedule on Friday, April 10, 2026.

🔹 Bro. Albert Quilitorio, FCM is scheduled to be raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason on May 8, 2026 (Friday) during the Regular Stated Meeting for the month of May.

In this regard, we warmly invite all Brethren to attend these significant occasions and take part in the continued labor and fellowship of the Craft.

Your presence will surely add light to our Lodge and strengthen the ties that bind us as one Brotherhood.

Maktan Lodge No. 30 warmly invites all Brethren to attend our Regular Stated Meeting on Friday, March 13, 2026, 6:30pm at Boromeo Masonic Temple, 70 A. Borromeo Street, Cebu City.

This will be a special evening as it marks the first Stated Meeting under the leadership of our newly installed Three Lights of the Lodge:
Worshipful Master Neil F. Yu, Senior Warden Joseph Baluyos Jr., and Junior Warden George Warman Liwag.

Let us gather once again in the spirit of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth, as we begin another chapter of Masonic labor under the guidance of our new Lodge officers. Your presence will surely add light, strength, and harmony to the Lodge.

Maktan Lodge No. 30 proudly celebrates the successful conduct of its 108th Installation of Elected and Appointed Officers last March 6, 2026 at Parklane International Hotel.

With gratitude and fraternal joy, we extend our sincere thanks to all the Brethren, distinguished guests, and visitors from other Lodges whithersoever dispersed who joined us in this meaningful and memorable occasion.

Our heartfelt appreciation is likewise extended to Most Worshipful Raul E. ✨ Regular Stated Meeting – February 13, 2026 ✨

Last Friday, February 13, 2026, the Brethren of Maktan Lodge No. 30 gathered in harmony and brotherly love for another successful Regular Stated Meeting.

This meeting marked a meaningful milestone, as it was the last Stated Meeting presided over by Worshipful Master Lyndon Ancajas Jr. during his term. The Lodge expresses its deepest gratitude to Worshipful Lyndon for his dedicated leadership, steadfast guidance, and faithful service throughout his year in the East. His commitment has truly strengthened the Craft and inspired the Brethren.

During the meeting, the Brethren resolved to confer the Third Degree of Masonry upon FCM Bro. Albert Quilitorio, signifying his continued journey toward further light in Masonry. May this important step be a profound and transformative experience as he advances in the Craft.

Indeed, it was an evening of reflection, gratitude, and renewed commitment to the principles we hold dear — Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth.

Half a Century. Two Generations. One Lodge.

A remarkable piece of Masonic history rediscovered from the March 1975 issue of The Cabletow reveals Maktan Lodge No. 30 in labor, with WB Teodorico S. Oliva, PM serving as Worshipful Master and WB Roque Y. Ancajas, PM serving as Senior Warden.

Fast forward fifty years, and the legacy continues—WB Roque Y. Ancajas’ grandson, WB Don Ancajas, now serves as Worshipful Master of the same lodge.

This rare moment reminds us that Freemasonry is more than an institution; it is a living heritage passed on through generations, bound by shared values, service, and brotherhood.

Indeed, it is hard not to believe that our forebears had a hand in arranging such moments—proof that the work of a Mason truly transcends time.
