Young Minds on Xplore 3 or YMX3 is a program of the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc. (RAFI) - Eduardo Aboitiz Developmebt Studies Center in partnership with the Vereniging Haarlemmermer Cebu and the City of Kortrijk. YMX3 is participated by 12 Cebuano youth and 3 adult leaders. The program provides an avenue for better understanding of the Cebuano and European cultures, and for fostering a deeper sen
se of nationalism among youth participants. Since its inception in 2007, YMX provides delegates the opportunity to know more about the socio-political systems, and the challenges and milestones relevant to both their home and their host countries. It brings them face-to-face with organizations and individuals generating and implementing solutions to various issues affecting the Philippine and European society. As a result, delegates are encouraged to contribute more to social development initiatives, particularly for Cebu. YMX provides the framework for a multi-city youth exchange and immersion, contributing to making Cebu City - Haarlemmermeer and Cebu City - Kortrijk sister city relationships stronger and more vibrant towards a more competitive and sustainable Metro Cebu.
