The UC-Banilad Association of Non-Academic Working Scholars (𝐔𝐂-𝐁𝐀𝐍𝐒) is now 𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐍 for applications from 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 (up to 2nd Year only).

As we look back on this night—especially while navigating the recent resilience shown after the Bogo earthquake and Typhoons Tino, Uwan, and Wilma—these memories are a powerful reminder of the talent, unity, and joy our working scholars can create. We set a new bar for excellence that night, and we’re proud to finally launch this series!

UC-BANS CARES, UC-BANS SHARES 💙

The University of Cebu Banilad Association of Non-Academic Working Scholars (UC-BANS) extended their service by donating essential needs to the victims of the September 30, 2025 earthquake in North Cebu. With compassion and unity, the UC-BANS officers and Working Scholar volunteers worked hand in hand in packing and coordinating with UC-CARES to deliver relief goods.

Together, we believe that even in the midst of challenges, kindness knows no distance and service knows no bounds.

Our special guest speaker, Venerlinda L. Hamoy, shared eye-opening insights about labor rights and responsibilities that truly resonated with everyone. Huge thanks to our ever-supportive Job Placement Officer, Eleonor T. Villaester, for making this event possible. The seminar brought together the hardworking scholars of UC- BANS from different departments — all eager to learn, grow, and be empowered for the future workforce.
