The 🛠️ WorldSkills Philippines Central Visayas – Regional Skills Olympics is a TESDA-led initiative that promotes technical-vocational training and skills excellence among students and aspiring workers, in support of the workforce development agenda of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr..
It serves as a platform for participants to showcase industry-based competencies developed through hands-on training in various technical fields such as ICT, welding, automotive, hospitality, electronics, and other trade areas aligned with global standards.
Through this competition, TESDA strengthens skills development and prepares learners for employment, entrepreneurship, and global workforce competitiveness under the vision of a stronger “Bagong Pilipinas.”

Participants attended the Holy Mass after the event as a moment of prayer and thanksgiving together. The celebration highlighted the importance of faith, unity, and commitment in continuing the mission of Salesian and TVET education.

BOSTEC 12 | Day 1 – Retreat Session
As part of Day 1 of BOSTEC 12, participants joined a meaningful retreat session on “Salesian Pedagogy in the TVET Setting” facilitated by Fr. Joriz Calsa.
The session reminded participants of the importance of guiding learners not only through skills and knowledge, but also through values, compassion, and the Salesian spirit of Don Bosco.
