Dumpsite Kids is a program that supports the education of the children at Inayawan dumpsite in Cebu
This initiative has been started to locate educational sponsors for the children at Inayawan Dumpsite. These kids live with their families at the outskirts of the dumpsite in sheds built out of trash. Every single day the families struggle to find enough money for food and education, which means that many of the children don't get the basic education they need to get a future outside of the dumpsi

A couple of weeks ago we went ice skating with all of the kids. Thanks to the kind donations of friends in Denmark it was possible to go on a day trip to a big mall. The kids were so exited - and even the elevator rides were a big hit🤩 Everybody learned a lot and everybody fell down a lot😅🧡

I dag har vi været på Island hopping lidt uden for Cebu. Alle havde glædet sig i flere uger, og vi havde den mest fantastisk solskinsdag🥰😎 Mange nye oplevelser for ungerne; at køre på en bro, at være på en båd, at svømme, at snorkle og ikke mindst at være væk fra lossepladsen og ude i naturen i så mange timer i streg - tak til alle jer, som har gjort oplevelsen mulig ved at donere penge til Dumpsite Kids🧡

As it turns out our Dumpsite kid Carl is very talented at taekwondo and he won a competition in Cebu - now he's on to compete in even bigger tournaments🏆🎖💪🏽 Maybe this could lead to a future outside of the Dumpsite👏🏼 We couldn't be more proud of him - and thank you so much to his sponsors at for helping him out with school, so that he can achieve his dreams💙

Every day the families work hard at the trash mountain trying to find plastic that they can sell🗑⚒🏚 The kids who are not in school help out their parents by spending hours in this toxic waste looking for "treasures"! Let's help them back to school instead🎒📚🤓 💪🏽
