As per Memorandum Circular No. 43 from the Office of the President, classes in SUCs and work in government offices are suspended starting 12PM tomorrow, March 28, 2018 to prepare for the Lenten break.

As stated in the Sec 1 of Article III (Membership) in the Constitution and By laws of the CTU - MC Supreme Student Government:

- All bonafide students of the Cebu Technological University - Main Campus provided that they are paying the SSG Fee automatically become a member of the organization; cross-enrollees are not recognized as members.

With this, upon confirming from the University Accountant that the Senior High students are paying the SSG Fee, let this be an announcement that they (Senior High students) are eligible to vote this March 23, 2018 for the .

After having an emergency conference with the Chief Security Officer and the Campus Director last Friday, March 09, 2018, it resulted to a mutual understanding that the back gate (R. Palma St. Gate) will be open for entrance to students on the following hours:

10:30 AM to 1:00 PM
6:00 PM to 7:30 PM

This is to give way to students who will be having their meal just across the back gate.

This operation will be effective starting tomorrow, March 12, 2018.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT

After receiving concerns from students (especially those who are from Lapu-Lapu and will be arriving from the pier) regarding the new MJ Cuenco Entrance/Exit Gate, we made it known to the Campus Director and we received his reply which says:

Good morning. I called a meeting with the concerned officials yesterday. Among the issues we deliberated on is this concern. We anticipated this request from students. With the big volume of students and vehicles using the Palma Gate, we would need to redesign the gate and the passage way.

That means demolishing existing structures while constructing new ones. We cannot just allow people and vehicles sharing the same entrance/exit. With this, it would require additional budget and time to implement the plan. What we are going to do is to implement such plan step by step.

I would like to assure the students that their welfare is our top concern. We ask for a little cooperation and understanding as we cannot provide instant solutions to all of your concerns.

ATTENTION STUDENTS

In view of the new M.J. Cuenco gate for entrance/exit, students are strongly advised to use the nearest Pedestrian Lane (zebra lines) in crossing M.J. Cuenco Avenue.
