10 REASONS WHY THE STO. NIÑO IS AN IMPORTANT INSPIRATION FOR ALL CATHOLICS
The Sto. Niño reveals the heart of our Catholic faith. In Him, God shows us how He chooses to come, save, and walk with us.
1. God Who Comes Close
In the Sto. Niño, God becomes a Child we can approach. He is not distant or frightening, but loving and near—especially to the poor and weak.
2. Humility Over Power
God does not save the world through force. He comes as a small and vulnerable Child, teaching us that true greatness is found in humility and service.
3. Trust Like a Child
The Sto. Niño invites us to trust God with simplicity and confidence.
“Unless you become like children, you will not enter the Kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 18:3)
4. God’s Love for the Poor
By becoming a Child, Jesus stands with those who have little power or voice. True devotion to the Sto. Niño leads us to compassion, justice, and solidarity.
5. Joyful Faith
Devotion to the Sto. Niño is marked by joy, hope, and gratitude. Our faith is not meant to burden us, but to give life and hope—even in suffering.
6. Faith That Grows
Jesus grew in wisdom and grace (Luke 2:52). The Sto. Niño reminds us that faith matures through prayer, learning, and daily conversion.
7. God Who Walks With Us
The Child Jesus is not only someone we adore, but someone who walks with us through life. The Sto. Niño assures us that God journeys with His people.
8. A Call to Protect Life
Honoring the Sto. Niño means defending children, the vulnerable, and the dignity of every human person, from conception to natural death.
9. Faith Incarnated in Culture
The Sto. Niño shows how the Gospel enters real cultures and histories. Our devotions, dances, and traditions become ways of expressing and deepening faith.
10. Discipleship Shaped by Love
To kneel before the Sto. Niño is to learn a way of life marked by gentleness, mercy, service, and love—especially toward the small and forgotten.

National Day of Prayer and Repentance from October 7 until the Solemnity of Christ the King
If then my people, upon whom my name has been pronounced, humble themselves and pray, and seek my face and turn from their evil ways, I will hear them from heaven and pardon their sins and heal their land.

Amping ug ampo tang tanan mga ka LIFE!
PRAYER | Loving and Merciful Father,
we come before You in this moment of trial, lifting up to You all our brothers and sisters affected by the recent earthquake. We pray for their safety and protection. Comfort the fearful, strengthen the weary, and surround the injured and displaced with Your tender care.
We offer special intentions for the churches in northern Cebu that have been destroyed. These sacred spaces have long been places of prayer, hope, and refuge. May they rise again as signs of Your enduring presence among us. Inspire the generosity of hearts and hands to help rebuild what was lost.
May this tragedy awaken in us a deeper sense of solidarity, compassion, and faith in Your providence. Amen.
Our Lady of Guadalupe, patroness of Cebu, keep us steadfast in hope and united in love.
Sto. Niño de Cebu, have mercy on us!

✨ Graced Moments with San Lorenzo Ruiz✨
Last September 21, 2025, Lay Ministers of San Vicente Ferrer - Buanoy, Balamban gathered for a one-day recollection facilitated by LIFE in preparation for the feast of their patron saint, San Lorenzo Ruiz.
Together, they reflected on the joys and challenges of their ministry, shared stories of faith, and drew inspiration from the courage and witness of San Lorenzo. The day ended with a heartfelt prayer service, where they offered their sacrifices to the Cross of Jesus while singing the Song of San Lorenzo Ruiz.
May this encounter strengthen our Lay Ministers to remain faithful and joyful in their service to God and the parish community.
We wholeheartedly thank Fr. Reynaldo Cui and Bro. Jonathan, president of the lay ministers in the parish for allowing us to journey with you.

The first week of July kicked off with energy and excitement as our LIFE Facilitators led a dynamic team-building activity for the Aerospacers Student Leaders—representing various IAU Student Body Organizations. It was a day filled with laughter, connection, and meaningful insights into the power of collaboration, not just within their org, but with other groups as well. Teams discovered firsthand that when individuals unite with purpose, incredible things happen.
Just a few days later, it was the turn of the IAU Faculty to gather for a truly unique experience: a recollection infused with the spirit of team building. The program centered around the eight dimensions of wellness—Community, Faith, Continuous Growth, Sleep, Play, Stress Management, Space, and Nutrition. Each area holds the key to holistic well-being, and when nurtured, uplifts the entire community. Through wellness, we offer the best of ourselves to both God and those we serve.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the IAU Community for their unwavering trust in us to help shape the hearts and minds of their student leaders and faculty over the years. As they embrace the journey of academic year 2025–2026, may they continue to rise, thrive, and soar ever higher.
✨ Looking for facilitators for your upcoming recollections, retreats, leadership trainings, team-building events, facilitating workshops or other psycho-spiritual and faith formation activities? Drop us a message on our page—we’d love to journey with you. 🙂
