APEX - SWU SHAHS

As the school year comes to a close, the APEX Grand Mentoring Program held its End-Year Meeting for A.Y. 2025-2026—reflecting on milestones, strengthening collaboration, and laying the groundwork for even better mentoring initiatives in the coming academic year.

The meeting was led by 𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗦𝗷𝗲𝘃 𝗟𝘂𝗶𝘀 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗼, 𝗣𝗧𝗥𝗣, APEX Adviser, together with 𝗧𝘆𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗼, APEX Chancellor and Big Bro of the 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 (College of Pharmacy); 𝗘𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗶𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝘆𝗲𝘀, APEX Chancellor and Big Bro of the 𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗨𝗦 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 (College of Rehabilitation Sciences); 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗞𝗶𝗺 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗻𝗼𝘁, Big Bro of the 𝗧𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗶 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 (College of Nursing); and 𝗝𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗲 𝗖. 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿, Big Bro, alongside 𝗝𝗶𝗮 𝗝𝗼𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘁𝗮, Big Sis of the 𝗘𝘆𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 (College of Optometry).

With shared insights, experiences, and a unified vision, the team continues to build stronger, more impactful mentoring programs—committed to guiding students toward academic excellence, personal growth, and leadership in the next school year.

𝗡𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗲—We mentor not just for school, but for life; empowering every Cobra to step into the spotlight and succeed in making lives better.

A productive planning meeting for the 𝗔𝗣𝗘𝗫 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 was recently held to discuss the strategic direction and upcoming initiatives for the remaining weeks of the current academic term, as well as key preparations for the upcoming school year.

The meeting was led by 𝗗𝗿. 𝗟𝗼𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗩. 𝗔𝗱𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲, Dean of the School of Health and Allied Health Sciences, together with 𝗧𝘆𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗼, APEX Chancellor and Big Bro of the 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 of the College of Pharmacy, and 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗞𝗶𝗺 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗻𝗼𝘁, Big Bro of the 𝗧𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗶 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 of the College of Nursing.

This gathering provided a valuable opportunity to align mentoring initiatives, strengthen collaboration among mentoring programs, and ensure that meaningful activities and support systems remain in place for students across the allied health disciplines. Discussions focused on sustaining mentorship engagement, enhancing student support structures, and developing forward-looking plans that will further strengthen the APEX mentoring community in the next academic year.

Through shared leadership and collaborative planning, the APEX Grand Mentoring Program continues to cultivate a culture of guidance, leadership development, and peer support among future healthcare professionals.

Congratulations to the faculty and students of Southwestern University PHINMA and HIU - Đại học Quốc tế Hồng Bàng for the successful conclusion of the 𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 featuring the Joint Case Conference on 𝗘𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗽𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘆, held at the Alumni Hall, 7th Floor of PHINMA Hall.

This collaborative academic activity served as a meaningful platform for scholarly exchange and collaborative learning, bringing together students and faculty members to examine complex neurological cases while strengthening international partnerships in medical and health sciences education.

The conference also underscored the value of interdisciplinary engagement in addressing multifaceted clinical conditions. Students from the Colleges of 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗲, 𝗥𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆, 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆, 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗰𝘆, 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗢𝗽𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗿𝘆, 𝗗𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆, 𝗥𝗲𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, and 𝗣𝗿𝗲-𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗲 actively participated in the discussions, contributing insights from their respective disciplines while fostering a deeper appreciation for collaborative, patient-centered healthcare.

Through evidence-based case analysis, clinical reasoning, and cross-institutional dialogue, the summit provided an enriching learning environment that promotes critical thinking, professional growth, and global academic cooperation among future healthcare professionals.

The "Family Wellness Fair: Healing Together" event held on March 8, 2024, was a resounding success, thanks to the collaborative efforts of the SHS Cobras, APEX, and the entire school community.

Dr. Adorable's insightful talk in the morning set the tone for the day, providing invaluable insights into wellness and healing. In the afternoon, the diverse Mentoring Programs' booths provided interactive and engaging experiences for students to learn about APEX programs firsthand.
