-SUSPENSION of FACE to FACE CLASSES on December 05, 2025-

With the recommendation of the NDRRMC and in line with DepEd Order No. 22, s. 2024, the Cebu City Government suspends all face-to-face classesโ€”public and private, all levelsโ€”tomorrow, December 5, 2025, due to the YELLOW/RED rainfall warnings brought by Typhoon Wilma.

This is to ensure the safety of our students, teachers, and school personnel as we prepare for the expected severe weather.

Students shall continue their lessons through modular or alternative learning modes.

Even if our Teacherโ€™s Day celebration came a little late, the joy, love, and support we felt from everyone truly made it special. From all of us here at Zapatera Elementary School, we sincerely thank each one of you for celebrating with us!

This celebration reminds us that a simple act like washing our hands with soap and water can make a big difference in protecting ourselves and others from germs and illnesses. Clean hands are our first defense in staying healthy, especially in schools where learning and teamwork happen every day.

At Zapatera Elementary School, we encourage every learner, teacher, and parent/guardian to make handwashing a regular habit- before eating. after playing, after using the toilet, and whenever necessary.
