𝐅𝐑𝐎𝐌 𝐏𝐀𝐏𝐄𝐑 𝐓𝐎 𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐀 | 𝐋𝐎𝐆𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐂𝐒 𝐀𝐔𝐓𝐎𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐆𝐄 💻

The 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗣𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮: 𝗟𝗼𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲, hosted by OLTEK Solutions Corp., centered on the development of systems capable of transforming unstructured logistics documents into accurate and structured data for operational use. The initiative emphasized data extraction, validation, and output generation through diverse technical approaches aligned with real world applications.

The event commenced with an onsite kickoff on 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 at 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗘𝗿𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘂𝗲 𝗕𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹, followed by an intensive online build sprint from 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟭𝟬 𝘁𝗼 𝟭𝟵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲. An elimination round was conducted on March 14, requiring teams to present a concise demonstration of their workflow and document processing strategy. The competition concluded with the Final Demo Day on March 23, 2026, where teams underwent a two phase evaluation consisting of a live data processing task and a formal presentation.

Among the competing participants, 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗝𝗔𝗘, composed of 𝗘𝗶𝗷𝗮𝘆 𝗣𝗲𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗼 and 𝗝𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗮, demonstrated a high level of technical proficiency and innovation. Their system, 𝗢.𝗟.𝗘.𝗔. 𝗼𝗿 𝗢𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗸 𝗟𝗼𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, achieved notable performance in data extraction efficiency. From an initial pool of 𝟮𝟭 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀, they advanced to the 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝟭𝟯 and ultimately secured a 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝟯 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 during the Final Demo Day.

This achievement reflects not only technical competence but also the capacity to design solutions that address practical challenges in logistics data processing.

On 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗵-𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 from 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗲𝗯𝘂 – 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗱 took on the 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗜𝗧 (𝗧𝗢𝗣𝗖𝗜𝗧)—a globally recognized assessment developed in Korea to measure real-world IT proficiency. This examination plays a vital role in aligning academic learning with industry standards, preparing students for the demands of the professional technology landscape.

With the theme “𝘼𝙄-𝙋𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜: 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙀𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘿𝙞𝙜𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝘼𝙜𝙚,” the conference highlighted how artificial intelligence continues to reshape education worldwide.

Representing University of Cebu Banilad – CCS, two faculty-led research projects were successfully presented, showcasing the college’s commitment to innovation and international academic excellence.
