Visitors also reacted with our cute K-pop Demon Hunters stickers, turning every note into a moment of connection and support. Every message reminded us that sharing even a little can make a big difference.

Tomorrow marks the opening of UC Mainโ€™s Mental Health Exhibit, and weโ€™re inviting all SHS students to be part of a space that reminds us weโ€™re not fighting alone. ๐Ÿง โœจ

UC Pri SHS Guidance Services will be there with our freedom wall, โ€œ๐ƒ๐ž๐ฆ๐จ๐ง ๐ข๐ง ๐Œ๐ฒ ๐Œ๐ข๐ง๐โ€ a place where you can release your thoughts, acknowledge your shadows, and feel seen through the words of others. You can also react to the messages using our K-pop Demon Hunters stickersโ€”small symbols of courage for battles we often keep quiet.

We set goals for our careers, our health, and our lives in general. Experts define goal setting as the act of selecting a target or objective you wish to achieve.

However, the real challenge is not determining if you want the result, but if you are willing to accept the sacrifices required to achieve your goal. It's easy to sit around and think what we could do or what we'd like to do. It is an entirely different thing to accept the tradeoffs that come with our goals. Everybody wants a gold medal. Sometimes, life shakes us โ€” literally and emotionally. The recent earthquake reminded us how fragile things can beโ€ฆ how fast everything can change. But it also reminded us of something beautiful: our strength to keep going. ๐Ÿ’›

Even when the ground moves beneath us, our hearts can stay steady. Keep that small fire inside you โ€” your hope, your kindness, your courage โ€” and protect it. Because thatโ€™s what helps you stand back up when life gets heavy. ๐ŸŒฑ

And always remember: effort isnโ€™t about doing more; itโ€™s knowing when to do less.

On October 21, the UC-PRI SHS interns, together with mentors Miss Joann and Sir Torres, gathered for an inspiring Guidance Talk titled โ€œ๐“๐ก๐ž ๐๐จ๐ฐ๐ž๐ซ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐๐จ๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž ๐’๐ž๐ฅ๐Ÿ-๐„๐ฌ๐ญ๐ž๐ž๐ฆ โ€“ ๐˜๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐จ๐ง๐š๐ฅ ๐’๐ญ๐ซ๐ž๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก ๐š๐ง๐ ๐€๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ž๐ญ.โ€

Led by our engaging speaker ๐…๐ซ๐š๐ง๐œ๐ฌ๐ž๐ง ๐‚๐ก๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฒ ๐๐ž๐ข๐ฌ, the session focused on discovering oneโ€™s inner worth, building confidence, and understanding that self-esteem is not just about feeling good, itโ€™s about recognizing your strengths and believing you are capable and enough. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป

The talk encouraged everyone to embrace self-acceptance, think positively, and treat themselves with the same kindness they offer others. Through reflections and shared experiences, the interns were reminded that personal growth begins with self-love and that every step toward believing in yourself is a step toward success. ๐ŸŒฟ
