From Photosymbiotic Bivalves to Corals: Genomic Approaches to Understanding Marine Symbiosis

🎙️ Speaker: Dr. Ruiqi Li
University of Southern California, USA

Dr. Li studies coral neurogenomics, focusing on the neurobiological mechanisms underlying coral responses to environmental stress and addressing one of the most pressing ecological challenges of our time—coral bleaching in a changing ocean. His research employs genomic approaches to better understand marine symbiosis, from photosymbiotic bivalves to corals.
